Natalie Dormer In J.Mendel – 2014 Emmy Awards

Natalie Dormer’s use of contrasting colors made her a red carpet standout at the 2014 Emmy Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday (August 25). The “Game of Thrones” actress wore a form-fitting orange and brown dress from J. Mendel Resort 2015 that reminded us all that Halloween is just around the corner.

This was a look that was sure to please the gentlemen. Natalie’s styling included vavoom long tresses and simple but artfully applied makeup. Sophia Webster ‘Tyra’ pumps and Fred Leighton jewels were the finishing touch.

What do you think—was this look a trick or a treat?

She was one of my best dressed of the night! Loved the colours!

I think her attitude makes the dress work like hell and her gorgeous hair and makeup are scintillating, no less. She looks lovely even in Game of Thrones and I’m very excited that she is also a part of Mockingjay.

This girl’s eyes always make me think that if looks could kill, we’d be dead by now. Which makes her a perfect choice for Game of Thrones, I suppose!

The whole look is amazing even though I don’t love orange or brown as colours, together or apart.

She looks awesome! Not really the best dress I’ve ever seen, but they way she’s working it really makes her stand out.

I don’t get the snarky commentary, because she looked perfect h2t.

This works all because of her posture. Wowza!

I wish that the bottom was the same color as the top. I first saw the head shot photos on Getty and I was amazed how gorgeous she looked. Then I saw the full shot and felt so disappointed. I do like the styling and I adore her hair.

I think she pulls it off, it works for her.

The hairstyle, pose and stare MAKE this outfit.

+3. Orange and brown could have gone so wrong. Work.
