Cat Deeley In Burberry – 2014 Emmy Awards

Cat Deeley In Burberry - 2014 Emmy Awards

Cat Deeley was also among the constellation of stars at the 2014 Emmy Awards on Monday (August 25) at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ host floated across the red carpet in a Burberry antique rose, degrade organza gown with a plunging neckline and sash detail at the waist.

We saw a number of Emmys gowns that literally turned up the volume, with their staggeringly extravagant silhouettes, and this pretty design was no different.

She styled all those wispy, diaphanous layers with a Bulgari diamond snake cuff and a Jimmy Choo ‘Mini Charm’ clutch, complementing the mauve colours with a rose-pink lip.

A twisted updo rounded out the look, but would you have preferred to see her hair styled in soft waves to echo the romantic spirit of the dress?

    Love this from h2t!

I like it, I am sure it probably moved beautifully in person. She just looks a bit bare to me, so many of the ladies on the red carpet lately are afraid to wear anything on their necks – jewellery is made to enhance if worn correctly, it can lift a look. Her hair is such a trademark I would have liked to have seen it more.

Soft waves would’ve been perfect, good suggestion. The look is beautiful, the rose-pink is dreamy on her.

It’s very pretty, but a bit one note… missing a bit more glamour.
Still, one of the best looks tonight.
I like the hair, though I wish she chose more of a statement earrings and a slightly bolder lip color.

It’s beautiful. Would’ve liked a necklace though. I think she made the right call with the hair.

This is wow levels of gorgeous.

    Cat looks flawless!

I like the flowing skirt but not the top part of the gown.

This is so beautiful, one of my favourite looks from her ever. I do agree that a more romantic up’do would have been the perfect touch.

She looks great here, except for the makeup, which makes it look like she’s just ONE color from scalp to toe.

Adore it. One of the best of the night for me. The updo is so refreshing.

Not really sure if I like this color combo.

  13. sophie August 26, 2014 at 14:19 #

Love it except for the bracelets. A mauve statement ring would have been better.

    Gorgeous. J’adore.

  15. Grace Patricia August 26, 2014 at 16:42 #

This is so pretty! Love the color and the volume!

I think the dress is gorgeous and she looks nice, but I feel like there is something off with the coloring. The reddish hues don’t work at all with her skintone.

I’m utterly charmed by the gown. I really like her hairstyle choice but I’m not sure about her current shade of blonde.

Yes, ‘charmed’ is just the word. I don’t think I’d usually go for this, but she looks lovely.
