Julianne Hough hit the red carpet of the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards tonight (August 24) at The Forum in Los Angeles.

The actress went boho chic in a voluminous navy gown from Emilio Pucci’s Fall 2014 collection.

Julianne’s pixie cut is growing out beautifully, leaving her with the perfect funky bob, and her coral lips and statement earrings are the perfect pairing for the look.

This won’t likely be a look that everyone is talking about tomorrow, but sometimes it’s okay just to play it safe….right?
