Jenna Coleman In Peekaboo Vintage – ‘Doctor Who’ Cardiff Premiere

Jenna Coleman In Peekaboo Vintage - 'Doctor Who' Cardiff Premiere

Jenna Coleman posed for photographers at Cardiff Castle before attending the Cardiff premiere of ‘Doctor Who’ held at St David’s Hall earlier today (August 7) in Cardiff, Wales.

The actress wore a bright red Peekaboo Vintage keyhole short-sleeved maxi dress with a pleated bib, open back and tie to the waist.

My first thought was that this was a bit much for a daytime premiere but, on reflection, why not go glam while giving a nod to the Welsh?

Blown-out tresses and a matching rich red lip colour perfected her look.

Too much for daytime?

I am pretty sure this is Ossie Clark not a dress by Peekaboo vintage and it is not the same version as from their campaign….. That also was an Ossie I believe but a different style….

Fashion Critic, how do you know this dress is Peekaboo Vintage? Do they post their dresses for sale online or did they let you know that she wore their dress? From what I know they sell one-off pieces at Topshop and have their boutique in Soho? Oh maybe it’s the Asos Marketplace boutique?

The dress swamps her – all we see is the dress, it’s wearing her

Overdressed but at least she kept the styling to a minimal level. She looks gorgeous and if the dress wasn’t full length this would’ve made it as a flawless daytime look.

Divine! Is not overdressed to me, this is perfection, I wish more women would wear gowns and dresses like this during daytime, and more if is in such a beautiful garden. Call me crazy, whoever thought about this, is a genious!

good lord, I find this hideous. so frumpy and the belt hangs funny, and it seems too long. Its so horrid to my eyes, I’m surprised it didn’t get bashed by other commenters frankly.

Oh, I love this! It may be too much for some, but I think the simplicity of the dress, and that gorgeous color, especially with the way it’s styled makes this a perfect daytime or nighttime look.

I agree! The fabric helps make it work for daytime, too, and the relaxed hair. I don’t know, I find this so very pretty and charming without crossing over to costume-y, it’s so nice to stare at her photos standing in the green grass.

        I totally agree!
