Fan Bingbing In Chris by Christopher Bu & Helen Lee - 'The White Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom' Press Conference & Premiere

Fan Bingbing continued to promote her new movie, ‘The White Haired Witch of Lunar Kingdom’, attending two more events.

Beijing Press Conference: You’ll be delighted to see the lack of quadruple-stacked heels on this very rare occasion. The actress wore her Saint Laurent criss-cross platform patent-leather pumps with a pretty blue and black patterned Chris by Christopher Bu Fall 2014 dress with her raven waves tumbling down one side. While her gown choices are a tad on the predictable side, her looks for press conferences are varied and playful.

Beijing Premiere: I am sure you are as shocked as I am that the actress didn’t wear a flowy, embellished gown of the Elie Saab variety for the premiere, instead wearing a Helen Lee Fall 2014 blouson top and skirt in shades of pink and grey which both feature a red-manicured hand holding a rabbit. This may appear strange but the Chinese designer is often inspired by Chinese contemporary artists when creating her collections. Bunny-clutching print aside, I love this look; once again I find it refreshing, with the mint-green Lanvin pumps drawing out the green on her skirt.

Which look do you prefer?

She looks great in both. She still has that elegant whimsy that we’ve come to expect but she looks refreshed in these outfits. Not a hint of try-hard or redundancy, which she can occasionally fall prey to. A great week for her so far. Hopefully she can keep it up.

Yay! Hopefully this is the end of those hideous quadruple-stacked heels. I like her first outfit better but love those green Lanvin pumps.

    I like both looks.

Helen Lee is a Chinese designer, now located in Shanghai, even though she used to work in Japan.

I like the first look. The second look is OK.

Love the second. (And yeah, no platforms.)

unfortunately, she did wear hideous platform shoes at another press conference.

I can’t believe it, she didn’t wear platform shoes! Both looks are lovely.

  9. Nat39 July 29, 2014 at 17:57 #

The 2nd is more interesting but the 1st one is nicer.

No platforms ????? oh my God! I can’t believe my eyes.
The 2nd look one million times . Not for the outfit itself but for how fresh and relaxed and comfortable she looks in it.

Really beautiful in both looks but the second one is styled better than the first, looks lovely.

I prefer the first look–her hair looks great and the fabric is more to my taste. Not wild about the bunnies.

  13. Alina July 30, 2014 at 05:29 #

I prefer the first outfit, but the second one is growing on me.

The quirky print on the classic shapes looks quite charming.
