Jennifer Morrison In Lublu & Paule Ka - 'Bates Motel' Party, Comic-Con 2014, Entertainment Weekly's Annual Comic-Con Celebration

Jennifer Morrison donned three looks during Comic-Con 2014 this weekend with varying levels of success.

‘Bates Motel’ Party: Looking at her floral bustier top and high-waist shorts, the outfit doesn’t quite have enough polish or flair for the occasion, especially if you were to stand her alongside Vera Farmiga. Attempting to make it party perfect, Jennifer styled the look with a Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ clutch and black Greymar platform sandals, yet it was a resounding no from me.

‘Once Upon A Time’ Panel: The great thing about Comic-Con is that there is always another event around the corner to turn things around. And so she did, donning a gorgeous off-the-shoulder bold red Lublu ’50s-style dress accented with a red leather bow waistband. While I wish she’d switched up the accessories, this look, which she topped off with a braided updo, is far superior to the first one.

Entertainment Weekly’s Annual Comic-Con Celebration: Opting to wear her Greymar shoes for a third time this weekend, the actress attended this party wearing a Paule Ka Spring 2014 black skirt and crop top accented with royal-blue satin lapels. Once again this look is so very far away in style from the first one, yet I look at all three looks and think, you can do better.

Not liking either. Meh styling all around

+1. And someone needs to tell her that braided updos don’t work unless you’re Elle Fanning or wearing Valentino.

The 3rd look is the only one I like

      Same

The second look is my favourite.

That’s just the thing… I no longer think she CAN do better. She has lost whatever “je ne sais quoi” she had while she was on “House” and in my view she hasn’t found it again. For me a lot of it has to do with her hair colour, which should be darker. I’m not a fan of any outfit here.

A resounding NO from me. The first looks like a ‘ 90s throwback circa Legally Blonde. The second doesn’t feel right for the occasion (those shoes are heinous with it). And shes trying with the third, but still no bueno. Jennifer has yet to wow me in anything away from the award show carpet.

Not liking any of these looks.

I still remeber her golden Marchesa dress at the Emmy Awards from a couple of years ago. ♥ Wish she still had that spark! :-)

These are all a resounding no from me. The second look is the best but I don’t like the length, the braided hair, her shoes, and I want to tug it up a little on top. A plus for the third one is that it is the only one that actually feels event appropriate. The second one probably technically is but it comes across too studied and uptight to me for a comic convention.

I don’t like any of these. at all.

FIRE JEN RADE as your stylist Jennifer. PLEASE.

Though I loved her look, Vera Farmiga was overdressed (not to mention season inappropriate) imo. This is Comic-Con, for goodness sake. I’m disliking the escalation in formality happening at a lot of these types of events. That’s the fun of this event — casual, quirky, even wacky. At least, once upon a time….

The first outfit is by MinkPink, I think. They have a dress with that same print.

Not crazy about any of these looks, but the red dress is the better one of the three
