Elle Fanning In Christopher Kane – Comic-Con 2014: ‘The Boxtrolls’ Panel

Elle Fanning In Christopher Kane - Comic-Con 2014 'The Boxtrolls' Panel

Elle Fanning was among the starlets at Comic-Con 2014 in San Diego, where she took a vibrant spin down the carpet at the panel for ‘The Boxtrolls’ on Saturday (July 26).

After donning a host of fairytale-princess looks during her ‘Maleficent’ press tour, the young starlet was obviously ready to re-embrace a slightly funkier style direction—at least for now.

Neon was the name of the game here with her bright coral Christopher Kane Resort 2015 frock, crafted entirely of floral lace appliques, worn with matching Rupert Sanderson ‘Elba’ pumps.

The sunny marigold shade of her nails was reflected in her yellow eyeliner. I don’t love the makeup, but with Elle’s youthful exuberance, no better time than now to rock every fun shade of the rainbow.

I don’t like the dress, but I can’t even focus on that when her makeup is one of the most awful things I have ever seen.

This is beautiful! I like her eye makeup. Very different and unique. The dress is cute

Its okay. The dress is fun and cute. Because of her age, I also don’t mind that she tries different looks. Shes experimenting, and thats great.
Not that I like the makeup, its ridiculous. But I like that she steps slightly out of the box sometimes.

I really like the dress. “Younger” shoes would have been better, she has all the time to wear pumps! I don’t know if I like the make up, but she’s young, she’s at Comic Con so I kind of like it.

That makeup shocked me because I could only see it in the close-up. The dress is cute and fun, and the shoes go nicely with it.

    I love her eye makeup!
It’s fun and fresh and off the beaten path.
I really do think it looks pretty on her.

Her makeup is great for a Comic Con!

The dress is cute, I wish she had opted for a different color shoe. I find them a little too matchy/matchy. The makeup is horrid I don’t care how young she is, that’s a big NO from me.

I don’t particularly love the outfit or the make up, but Elle looks so happy and fun that she looks adorable regardless.

Love the dress on her- perfect collection for Elle. Not a fan of the yellow on her, even though I love and embrace colorful and experimental mmakeup. This just isnt flattering–it looks kind of alien-ish. But it is comic-con, so….

NO. AWFUL. Even if she is young. This collection was AWFUL.

The dress is nice but I really don’t like that eye makeup.

Elle is so different and unique.

The dress is OK but I really like the makeup. It works on her. It’s fun, youthful and it’s appropriate for the event.

  15. Rebecca Z July 28, 2014 at 15:16 #

Great dress. Not a fan of the makeup but it does work for her and is fine for her age and the event.

  16. TeaAtTwo July 28, 2014 at 16:31 #

I think it’s a cute and fun look considering her age and the event.

I love it from H 2 T! It’s an amazing way of being part of this event. People are complaining about the make-up but seems like they’re not thinking about the zillion of people attendingit. It’s not the Oscars and is THE event to get super quirky and have lots of fun.
