Karen Gillan In Louis Vuitton – ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ London Premiere

Karen Gillan In Louis Vuittion - 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' London Premiere

Karen Gillan took to the red carpet this evening (July 24) for the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ premiere held at Empire Leicester Square in London, England.

The Scottish actress wore a Louis Vuitton Fall 2014 look consisting of a white bomber jacket with a printed panel and an ecru A-line skirt with a dual-colour patch pocket accented with a black patent leather belt.

This is a slightly edgier look for Karen, but not one which surprises me as she has been very experimental of late and isn’t afraid to try something new.

No Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals on this occasion. She opted to wear Louis Vutiton patent leather booties with tan lace up detailing.

I thought it was hot and sticky in London yesterday–she’s dressed for fall. I really don’t like this look–it’s like a cowgirl outfit for a little girl.

A bit too fall with the booties but I’m glad she kept the edge, wish the skirt were just a tad longer like on the runway. Can”t say I like it much but it’s a cool little look for Karen.

Now THIS is how you do Nicholas Ghesquiere for Louis Vuitton! love it, head to toe.

I think she looks great despite the hodge podge outfit. If it didn’t have the odd V shaped detail across the chest and arms, the look would have an unadulterated sci fi feel, which would work with the film she’s promoting.

Looks like she’s auditioning for Annie Oakley. Dreadful

I love the skirt and boots, I think she had a better chance pulling it off with a different top.

Well… it could have been worse.

this collection is beyond overexposed. Its in all the magazine and all over the RC and slowly losing all its appeal for me. I also hate how everyone has been wearing the full runway looks when I think this collection would look best styled with other things.

I HATE LOUIS VUITTON. Nicholas Ghesquiere is to LV as Raf Simons is to Dior. There, I finally said it. And I feel bettwr. However, she IS pulling this (otherwise fug) look off better than I wouldve expected.

I can’t believe how well this has translated to the red carpet, she is rocking every bit of it and I love it, absolutely.

I think the outfit is in sync with the theme of this type of movie première.

I like the look. But as a streetstyle, maybe in fall or spring.
She looks a bit like a little girl. And I only like booties with skirts on very rare occasions.
And I also don’t like people dressing down on premiers. A big occasion screams for a big dress. She should’ve saved her cowgirl-look for her next shopping tour or something
