Jessica Chastain In Dolce & Gabbana - Ischia Global Film & Music Fest 2014

Jessica Chastain joined Freida Pinto for the Ischia Global Film & Music Fest 2014 on Saturday (July 12) in Ischia, Italy.

Giving her bangs their red carpet debut, the actress wore a Dolce & Gabbana dress designed to highlight the waist as well as dazzle you with colour-blocking plus a fiery chili and floral print.

Jessica’s vibrant dress, which she styled with gold Charlotte Olympia stacked sandals and opulent Dolce & Gabbana ruby and gold earrings, couldn’t be more perfect for a summer’s evening.

    No, no and HELL NO!

Had the dress been in a different shade of blue and without the chillies then maybe. or make it sleeveless & loose?

This is an unfortunate debut for the bang.

+1 This frock makes her unrecognizable! I no likey the shoes or the dress.

She looks amazing! I love the bold print

  3. Noemi July 14, 2014 at 17:41 #

She looks lovely and fresh, but I find the shoes a bit unflattering, because of the two ankle straps.

Agreed, I don’t find the shoes to be working with her at all.

    Ugh shivers
This is hideous. Dress is all wrong. She usually looks awesome, not this day though.
Those earrings though would be fun to wear. Just not with this dress.

Normally, Jes can do no wrong in my eyes. But, there is not one thing I like about this for her. It seems more suited for Dame Helen than for Jessica. Rare miss

I love the dress, though I don’t think it suits her. I think the bold colors would look much better on a brunette with darker skin.

I like the styling— it’s fun without being OTT—and I appreciate her trying something different.

(I’m not sure about the bangs.)

ITA! This print and color suits a brunette. If someone like Monica Bellucci had worn this, it would have been a home run.

Living the dolce vita… Very suited for the occasion!

Hmmm. I like the colors although the print is a bit blowsy. Still, my first thought was she’s not a Dolce & Gabanna woman. Put this on Eva Mendes. Kudos though for keeping things fresh.

I think it’s a well executed look although I’d probably rather see it on Paloma Faith.

I thikt the print is loud and the waist band is too thick on the dress. I like the shape and length of the dress. Hair, makeup, jewelry and shoes ae great.

The dress looks cheap and gimmicky

+1.I would love this print for my sofa.

Not my favourite look from Jessica. The styling is perfect but in my eyes this dress would suit better a mediterranean woman, Jessica’s complexion is too pale againts these bold colours. Also I don’t like thee bang, I think it ages her.

  14. Yeliz July 14, 2014 at 21:16 #

The dress is OK and I like her hair and earrings, but no to the shoes.

  15. Nicky July 14, 2014 at 21:32 #

I love this! The dress could be a little more fitted, since it is making her look a little wider than she is. But I love the hair, earrings, and the print. And the fact she’s finally not wearing black!

Please Ms.Chastain! change your stylist, please!

I love the dress and I think Jessica wears it well. Personally I think the bright colours look lovely against her pale milky complexion.

In this photo at least, I don’t think the lighter hair colour is as flattering- it’s washing her out a bit. Her usual bright fiery hair is a nicer contrast to her skin and brings out her eyes more.

    Still, beautiful!

a typical D&G look, and I think it’s the right occasion for the look. Love it.

love this look, also love her boyfriend’s look too. I don’t know who is he but he looks dapper too. I really want a post about him what he wears 😀 with his red jacket and her outfit this is a match made in heaven

  20. Prudence July 15, 2014 at 18:07 #

This is more suited for a dark haired siren like Monica B or Penelope or Salma. Not loving that bold print against her fair skin and red hair at all.
