The Cosmopolitan Beauty Awards

The Cosmopolitan Beauty Awards

The Cosmopolitan Beauty Awards took place at the Platea Restaurant on Monday (July 7) in Madrid, Spain. Here’s a look at five lovely ladies who caught my eye.

Dafne Fernandez: As you know I have had a long-time crush on Dafne’s style. The Spanish actress wore a gorgeous Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2014 frock with a romantic, preternaturally pretty, simple design rendered in gauzy silk georgette in a fluttering silhouette with a deep V-neck and double slits in the skirt. The look was styled with burnt-orange Roger Vivier pumps, gold jewels and a luscious red lip.

Celia Freijeiro: The actress certainly stood out in her incredibly chic Roksanda Ilincic colour-block patchwork bouclé wool dress from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection. Adding one more colour into the mix, she opted for coral peep-toes, with a black clutch rounding out her look

Natalia de Molina: I almost didn’t recognise Natalia with her new red hair and blunt bangs. Opting for a pink and black frock with a chiffon wrap-layered skirt, this look is more fun and in tune with the spirit of the magazine.

Romina Belluscio: As the host of the show, Romina ensured she stood out, wearing a sheer black Yolan Cris strapless gown fitted with a black corset and accented with lace. If you were on the cusp of disliking the sheer dress trend, this will send you over the edge.

Nerea Garmendia: Opting for head to toe fuchsia pink, the actress wore a lace Dolce & Gabanna dress with Casadei pumps. Swarovski clutch and Carrera y Carrera jewels completed her look.
