Queen Letizia of Spain In Felipe Varela Atelier – King Felipe VI Proclamation Ceremony

Queen Letizia of Spain In Felipe Varela Atelier - King Felipe VI Proclamation Ceremony

The coronation of King Felipe VI was held in Madrid on Thursday (June 19) after his father, the former King Juan Carlos of Spain, abdicated on June 2nd after a 39-year reign.
The new king was joined by his wife Queen Letizia of Spain for the proclamation ceremony.

On her first day as queen, Letizia wore a Felipe Varela Atelier dress with a matching coat featuring an embroidered neckline of degradé micro beads in ruby, amethyst crystals, amber and powder pink.

A sand-coloured Felipe Varela clutch and matching Magrit pumps accessorized her look, which was completed with a light selection of jewels.

I can’t wait to see if the new queen’s style changes with her new title.
