Princess Beatrice In Nicholas Oakwell Couture – The Serpentine Gallery Summer Party

Princess Beatrice In Nicholas Oakwell Couture - The Serpentine Gallery Summer Party

Princess Beatrice joined her sister Princess Eugenie in attending the annual Serpentine Gallery Summer Party at The Serpentine Gallery on Tuesday (July 1) in London, England.

The young royal wore a heavenly Nicholas Oakwell Spring 2014 Couture gown from the designer’s Flower collection.

I have been longing for this collection to hit the red carpet ever since I saw its intricate details up close.

Beatrice’s white floral appliqué tea-length gown with a flared skirt and sheer yoke was styled with lavender peep-toes and a lime-green clutch.

Styling her hair into a bouffant ponytail, she completed her look with a watermelon-pink lip.

Beatrice looks divine; she rarely lets me down. I absolutely adore the shoes.

I’m thankful she didn’t opt for white or nude accessories, as this could’ve easily come off too bridal.

    What a lovely dress.
Unfortunately, she doesn’t ‘sell it’ IMO.

      Agreed. Not working for her

I agree. When I first saw the dress on her I fell in love with but then I saw the shoes and it ruined the look for me. Her shoes are too casual so don’t match the dress

Beautiful dress accessorized to perfection. What’s not to like?

this is gorgeous and the lilac heels? perfect. I really like this

Apart from the hair, which don’t think flatters her face at all, she’s styled this very nicely. I don’t quite buy Beatrice going all princess-y (the irony isn’t lost on me), but she’s done way worse in the past.

Love the shoes! Lovely dress and she styled it well. Sweet w/o being too bridal or princessy. Nicely done.

The dress is a piece of art, it’s white, flawless perfection manifested and fabric and sheer.
However, the hairstyle is a little bit unflattering, it makes her face look very long and oval, unfortunately.
And I kind of have a problem with the color management… Lavender heely, light green clutch AND red lips? I don’t know, it looks strange. Maybe two colors would’ve been enough? Like nude or cool pink lips?
    But first the hairstyle change.

J’adore. Swooning for the lime green clutch and lavender shoes. What a pretty dress!

It definitely is her best look in a long long time.

Love Princess B. FC and I love seeing her out and about because she always makes an effort unlike Catherine D. of C.

Love this look, perfectly accessorized. Love Nicholas Oakwell and I love that he is getting more and more attention.

White. But this actually looks quite lovely, especially with the pops of color. I’m impressed.

Love the dress but I can’t help feel it is a bit bridal. Especially since my mother got married in dress very similar to this in 1960. I think the accessories help, and Princess B’s hair and makeup are lovely. Very summery and feminine.

The silhouette is so beautiful, and her styling is wonderful and summery. I can’t get behind the red lip, though. Someone needs to tell these celebs there ARE other lip colors out there.
