Natalie Portman In Christian Dior – Miss Dior Exhibition Opening

Natalie Portman In Christian Dior - Miss Dior Exhibition Opening

Natalie Portman attended the Miss Dior exhibition held at the Shanghai Urban Sculpture Center today (June 19) in Shanghai, China.

Looking ever so charming, the actress wore a Christian Dior Resort 2015 white silk dress with a white cotton basque giving the LWD a contemporary spin.

Going for a monochrome look to match the houndtooth carpet, no doubt inspired by Dior’s Fall 2013 collection, Natalie styled her frock with black accessories including simple pumps and a Dior clutch.

Dior Fine Jewelry ‘Bagatelle’ white gold and diamonds earrings, soft wavy tresses and a touch of glamour via her red lip colour rounded out her look.

This is one of my favourite looks from a Dior ambassador in long a while.

The black accessories look so harsh. Love the dress though – simple and ladylike yet up to date, just wish the skirt were a tad shorter/more at the knee.

She looks good, but this look is so zzzzzzzzzz.

Elegant dress, but heavy accessories and frozen facial expression totally ruin the overall impression.

The carpet is more interesting than the clothes.

        LOL +1000

I wish the shoes and clutch were in a silver or blush colour

I dislike the black accessories but there’s no denying she looks very elegant.

The black accessories are dull but yes, she looks nice.

I love Natalie but she looks like a old lady!

    Really bad look

Can’t give a pass to those boring black accessories. The dress is very lovely and I love her hair and makeup.

I absolutely ADORE this dress. It is my next “I can’t live without” item. Probably in another color than white.

I loved this outfit! Pure perfection!

Ugh she is just so stunning and elegant! She is a true Dior ambassador in my eyes, she represents that classic, elegant yet modern French appeal so well. JLaw just doesn’t belong there and Marion lately has been slipping too. J’adore Natalie!

+1 Totally agree with the ambassador statement

Very restrained but chic – as per Natalie’s post-baby modus operandi, it seems. Those pumps look like a great wardrobe staple.

LOVE the dress, but the accessories could have been waaaay better.

  14. Noemi June 20, 2014 at 09:16 #

She looks very good, the dress is lovely on her. What a difference between her and the other ambassadors.

Even the best Dior is an uninspired bore

The houndstooth is not actually a nod to the 2013 collection – it has been an iconic print for the label for decades – indeed, the Dior perfumes (Diorissimo, Diorama, etc) were for many years packaged in houndstooth detail perfume bottles.
