Carey Mulligan In Prada – ‘Skylight’ Press Night Performance

Carey Mulligan In Prada - 'Skylight' Press Night Performance

Carey Mulligan was joined by co-star Matthew Beard in the foyer following their press night performance of ‘Skylight’ held at the Wyndhams Theatre on Wednesday (June 18) in London, England.

We haven’t seen much of the British actress since her promo tour for ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ way back in October, and it would appear two things haven’t changed: Her love for Prada and her decision not to wear makeup.

The art-deco print Fall 2014 frock with a plunging neckline was styled black Prada mules which neither harm or enhance the look.

Considering she just came off stage, the lack of makeup can be explained away, however, we all know that she kick started the barely there makeup trend during her promo tour for ‘The Great Gatsby’ last year.

The dress is OK, her styling is dull.

      Agreed.
She used to look amazing when she first came out. What happened? :(

I’m torn – all for LESS makeup, myself; but is it a statement of some kind or would a little bit of color be so bad? (Or shine, or sparkle, or gloss, or pop, or pizzazz, or contrast.)

I hate Prada. Every day a little bit more.

This made me chuckle! I’m so with you…

Carey’s stylist is Rooney Mara’s stylist, Ryan Hastings. He has ruined Carey’s style by making it more minimalist. I hate it. I don’t think he is a good stylist to begin with, as his work with Rooney is so stale at this point.

She looks exhausted. Poor thing. The dress is ok but the styling is not

    This all looks rather drab.
