Coco Rocha In Zac Posen – 2014 Fragrance Foundation Awards

Coco Rocha In Zac Posen - 2014 Fragrance Foundation Awards

Coco Rocha attended the 2014 Fragrance Foundation Awards held at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center on Monday (June 16) in New York City.

No one does red carpet drama quite like Coco Rocha and Zac Posen.

The designer’s stunning muse would’ve had jaws dropping adoring this Spring 2014 blush off-the-shoulder organza creation.

I love how the dramatic bodice overlay adds a twist to this romantic gown.

Crafted in soft, ethereal silk chiffon, the slim silhouette cascades into a graceful mermaid hem with a short train.

Opting for a slick back hairstyle, the model added an edge to her look, working smouldering smoky eyes and a rouge pout, with statement earrings completing her look.

At first I thought this gown is washing her out. But now this dramatic look is growing on me. I think she looks stunning and BDOTW-worthy.

Agreed! She looks exquisite. She really is working this look! Definitely BDOTW worthy

I don’t like the ruffles–the bodice is so out of proportion. She looks like she has no arms. The color, the styling are gorgeous, but the dress doesn’t work for me.

I love the dress and think it looks fantastic on her. But why is she intentionally hiding her arms while posing? She must be, because other photos from the evening you can clearly see her arms extend beyond the ruffle. I didn’t know No Arms is now a modeling pose

A stunning and interesting gown, she wears it well.

  5. Maria June 17, 2014 at 14:50 #

I’m so happy this dress had a red carpet moment! I think it’s a masterpiece.

  6. Pedro June 17, 2014 at 15:09 #

She looks fantastic! I love it

  7. Phoenix June 17, 2014 at 15:11 #

Now this is beautiful and unique! I’m definately for BDOTW!
I’ll admit the pic is a bit odd (but still amazing) without the hands lol, but the other pics with the arms down are even more amazing :)

Even though I think the dress is ugly, she looks so gorgeous in it. I think this is a BTOTW nominee.

    Great look

My parents had bedding covers in about this tone in the 80s. Looks like she carrying them around.

Gorgeous drama! Zac Posen + Coco Rocha = Va Va Vrooom! Love it so much! Edgy and fun, romantic and beautiful!

I think it would have looked even better on someone with a darker skin such as Gabrielle Union. She looks divine nonetheless.

I do not like the restrictive look of the flounce. If I had seen it in movement perhaps…but in these pictures she looks quite caged in yards of material. With no arms and no feet visible, I cannot focus on the good parts of her look i.e. makeup and earrings.

The ruffles are ao heavy and too much layers on them, I don’t like it. And I also believe we’ve already seen this kind of dress on her (which won BDOTW) at the amFAR (correct me if I’m wrong)

I looove the artistic feel of this dress and it looks 100times better on her than on the model. and its the first time ever that I absolutely adore her makeup :))

  16. Ramsay June 17, 2014 at 18:07 #

The hidden hands are quite creepy – Very weird pose
The arms restricted by that many layers of ruffles make her feel uncomfortable
The whole thing looks odd and uncomfortable
And arty with no actual sense of practicality (like the need to move the arms)
It is a definite NO for me

The looks is soft yet dramatic and original, and she is commanding it. Thumbs up.

    She is working this look.

  19. Alina June 17, 2014 at 21:00 #

    Not liking this at all.

  20. Grace Patricia June 18, 2014 at 01:58 #

Exquisite dress and the styling is perfect, I just dislike the hidden arms.

  21. Gemma Rockets June 18, 2014 at 04:33 #

Quite an amazing look. I can’t help wishing it were in a colour, but that aside it’s a piece of art. And coco does rock a Posen.

  22. ggg June 18, 2014 at 05:52 #

Zac Posen’s muse is actually the model in the photo, Anna Cleveland. Her mother is famous supermodel from the 70′s and 80′s, Pat Cleveland.

  23. Carrie June 18, 2014 at 19:10 #

I find this so interesting + striking!

  24. Dhppy June 19, 2014 at 03:15 #

Almost greatness. I just wish it weren’t a nude color, and maybe the top of the bodice had some shape to it in order to prevent the look of one straight line across the top. Great ideas in this gown though.

Love the dress but where your arms at, girl?
