Nicole Kidman In Armani Privé – ‘Grace of Monaco’ Shanghai Film Festival Premiere

Nicole Kidman In Armani Privé - 'Grace of Monaco' Shanghai Film Festival Premiere

Nicole Kidman attended the ‘Grace of Monaco’ premiere held during the Shanghai Film Festival on Sunday (June 15) following the photocall.

The actress looked stunning wearing a Swarovski-crystal-embroidered ivory Armani Privé lace overlay dress with a rise-and-fall hemline, accented by a black bow-detailed belt.

The belt might have felt a tad heavy for her delicate look had it not been balanced out by her black strappy Jimmy Choo sandals.

A selection of complementary jewels, a chic updo and red lip colour rounded out her look.

Is this on a par with her opening ceremony look, or do you love this more?

This is BDOTW contender for me!

If I look at the photo on the right, I love it. But, I hate the belt and the shoes. I think it’s her statuesque height that makes me dislike the the rise-and-fall hemline on her. The rise hits her at an odd spot. Nor do I like the scalloped edge of that hem either.

+1 I’m not loving the black belt and the sandals.

I like the gown, but hate the black belt and the black sandals.

She also needs to stop using you-know-what. She said that she would stop using it, but it was back in full, absolutely obvious force at Cannes. She’s an actress. Her face needs to be able to move. Age proudly Nicole! Her husband uses it too…

she looks fab to me.. if not for the black accessories, the look would have been a little too bridal.. this and the dolce.. i love…

i wish the front of the gown was floor length

HATE the harsh black belt and shoes, ruins the entire look.

The dress is so similar to the dress in the background poster.

      Hahaha my thought exactly!

I fell in love with her in Moulin Rouge, then she started to do things to her face and all went downhill.
It seems that we were in a really tall hill, because we are still going down.

    She strikes again
    Good showing at Shanghai Nic!
    This is very chic

The belt and the shoes are awful! The belt wasn’t needed and the shoes should’ve been jimmy choo lance in silver

I like the opening ceremony look better. This dress is very pretty, and while the sash could have been omitted and silver sandals would have been better, the black is not a deal killer for me. Not a fan of rise and fall hemlines–this would have been beautiful tea length or full.

Yes! I love how the black accessories ground the look and along with the rise and fall hemline make it more interesting, the red lippie is perfect. I prefer this look.

Her face hasn’t looked so radiant in a long time!
I do wish her dress was floor-length.

  14. Yeliz June 16, 2014 at 17:51 #

This is gorgeous, but I prefer the opening ceremony look.

I always think that big bows make a woman look like life sized dolls wrapped for gift. The dress has enough embellishments to talk by itself. The bow over killed it. Though this one is more than appropriate for the occasion and she does look beautiful I prefer the Dolce Gabbana one. It looked more modern.

the black accessories totally kill this look for me, far too harsh against such a delicate gown. I also do not care for the high low hem, it is not very flattering on her. This is just MEH.

the length of this gown is frightening and the wrongness of that shoe pronounced!

  18. Sharon June 16, 2014 at 22:25 #

She is such a beautiful woman and she’s been dressing to showcase that beauty lately. This isn’t my most favorite look, but she does look wonderful.

The belt and shoe choice are hurting this look, but fortunately, it’s not down for the count. It’s still quite pretty.

  20. ash June 17, 2014 at 01:54 #

finally for once her hair and makeup look good!

  21. TeaAtTwo June 17, 2014 at 14:38 #

The black belt and shoes had no buisness being there. A soft champange waistband and snadals would have been perfect.

Wowed in a way she hasn’t wowed me in a while!
