A crush of luminous lovelies were on the scene at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday (June 10) for MaxMara And W Magazine’s cocktail party in honour of the Women in Film Max Mara Face Of The Future, Rose Byrne. Looks from MaxMara and its youthful Sportmax label were plentiful—naturally—with guests each bringing their own unique flair to the evening’s fashion.

Rose Byrne: As the party’s ‘it’ girl, Rose appropriately led the event with one of the more eye-catching, glittery ensembles, shining brightly in a Max Mara midnight-navy sequinned V-neck dress. She paired down the glitz factor with dual-tone, Jimmy Choo Kahlua pumps, neutral makeup and minimal jewels.

Ahna O’Reilly: Pretty in girly pink, Ahna stepped out in a Sportmax crepe dress with zipper detail, Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and a contrasting blue Edie Parker ‘Edie’ clutch.

Kiernan Shipka: The young trendsetting starlet gave us a feminine look with edge via her demure MaxMara beaded white silk top and tougher Max Mara black leather skirt with feminine pleating. She added a pop of bold colour via a yellow Christian Louboutin studded bag along with strappy sandals.

Naya Rivera: At first glance, I barely recognized the ‘Glee’ girl here with her nearly jet-black tresses. However, her body-skimming, Max Mara nude crepe slip dress and metallic cage sandals, accessorized with a small box clutch and gold necklace, were in keeping with her standard sultry styling.

Victoria Justice: Epitomizing girly-cute in her Sportmax pink polka-dot silk dress, the crimped-hair Nickelodeon actress echoed the sweet theme with her bubblegum lip and crimped hair. Something about the billowy silhouette paired with the silver ALDO ‘BettolaA’ mirrored clutch and white ALDO ‘Daeng’ sandals didn’t work here, though. Perhaps it was the length of the dress.

Zendaya Coleman: This is more like it, as the trend-forward starlet served up her bold style attitude with a Sportmax black-and-white striped dress, embellished with rows and rows of bangle wrist cuffs, ankle-tie pumps, a part-less do and a red lip. Not everyone could wear such a look with the level of cool confidence the Zendaya radiates here.

Caitlin Fitzgerald: Embracing a breezier silhouette, the actress wore a Sportmax white silk V-neck dress, keeping her accessories as effortless and minimal as the frock with Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals and an Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch.

Krysten Ritter: Also thinking pink, the funny girl dressed in a Sportmax black and pink, polka-dot V-neck silk dress, completing the dual-tone look with an Edie Parker ‘Jean’ striped clutch, AS29 ‘Flow Long 4 Line’ earrings, a BaubleBar Crystal Cuff and Jimmy Choo silver sandals.

Jordana Brewster: Taking monochrome to another level, the ‘Dallas’ actress pulled off her all-purple look with aplomb. The sophisticated Max Mara crepe silk top and long pencil skirt was given a sporty, cool spin with thin suspenders, whereas matching lilac Jimmy Choo pumps and a tonal clutch assured that no other colour invaded the look—aside from Jordana’s raven locks.

Amandla Stenberg: The young teen star had plenty of fun with her look, wearing her Sportmax blue patterned, neoprene dress with neon-yellow pumps, a fire-engine-red lip and a funky twisted ’do.

Sophia Bush: Her Sportmax floral and striped printed crepe dress showed off the chic side of mixed patterns, to which she added an even bigger splash via bright sky-blue Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps, which really lifted the look to another level. Vita Fede jewelry provided the finishing touch.

Christina Hendricks: Covering her curves in a far more fall-inspired outing, the ‘Mad Men’ star wore a Max Mara green cashmere coat over a black-and-white printed silk top and black pant. She accessorized with an Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch and brassy Jimmy Choo pumps, finishing the look with a cherry-red lip and a black beanie-style cap.

Darby Stanchfield: The sheer trend appears again with the ‘Scandal’ star’s Max Mara black pleated top and gathered skirt. The Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch makes another appearance, too. I loved the thin accent belt, nipping in her waist, but a more polished ’do would have worked wonders here.

Bella Heathcote: The actress wore a flirty Max Mara purple and black printed drop waist dress with Monique Lhuillier’s black patent leather asymmetrical mule with PVC detail and another version of the event’s ubiquitous Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch. The shoes and the red lip seemed a bit strong for the delicate dress.

Katie Lowes: Here, I would have preferred a red lip instead of the light pink shade, what with this ‘Scandal’ actress’s Max Mara gold lame camisole worn with high-waisted, black crepe pants and black pumps.

Cody Horn: Cody outfitted her statuesque frame in a beautiful Max Mara cream crepe one-shoulder jumpsuit, accessorized with an Edie Parker ‘Jean’ clutch alongside the punchy colour of turquoise-green earrings and a cocktail ring.

Meagan Good: Also wearing a Max Mara one-shoulder jumpsuit, Meagan’s rosy rust-hued version had the added frill of a ruffle detail and belt, to which she paired with Christian Louboutin blush-nude pumps.

Zoey Deutch: Taking a more mannish approach, the young star suited up in a Sportmax black sleeveless blazer with skinny cropped pants, paired with statement pendant earrings. Perhaps the look needed a belt, or something more inspired than a black pump, but the overall effect was still chic.
