Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway In H&M Conscious Collection – amfAR Inspiration Gala New York 2014

Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway In H&M Conscious Collection - amfAR Inspiration Gala New York 2014

HRH Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway attended the amfAR Inspiration Gala New York 2014 held at The Plaza Hotel on Tuesday (June 10) in New York City.

She wore a black floral-patterned sleeveless dress with a high-low hem from H&M’s Conscious Collection, styled with nude pumps and a hot-pink clutch for a pop of colour.

You may remember that this isn’t the first time we’ve seen this dress; both Emmy Rossum and Spanish actress Leticia Dolera have also taken this frock for a spin on the red carpet.

Princess Mette-Marit also isn’t the first royal to don this collection; Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden has too.

Modern princess!! Love the pops of colour coming via her clutch and earrings.

That dress sure comes around. Crown Princess Victoria wore it to the Bernadotte Awards the other week (with better shoes).

Even with the pink clutch I think this look is boring.

    Not liking this on her

Awww, MM, love the bag. Also: who hasn’t worn this dress? Certainly liked it better on Victoria, but then MM’s style isn’t quite mine anyway.

The dress is fine but her hair could use some work. I never care for her hair pulled back tight and flat, it looks better in a loose style. The accessories are pretty awful too.
Crown Princess Victoria wore it better.
