Bellamy Young In Alice + Olivia – ‘Scandal’ Monte Carlo Television Festival Photocall

Bellamy Young In Alice + Olivia - 'Scandal' Monte Carlo Television Festival Photocall

Bellamy Young attended the ‘Scandal’ photocall held at the Grimaldi Forum during the 54th Monte Carlo TV Festival on Monday (June 9) in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

The actress, who we are using to seeing in chic skirt suits portraying the First Lady, opted for a summery look, hitting the season’s trends of breton stripes and florals.

I probably would’ve opted for one or the other, pairing a solid-coloured top with the Alice + Olivia ‘Tina’ ball gown skirt featuring a vintage floral print.

How would you have styled this look?

This skirt has been worn twice before, by Bella Thorne and Zosia Mamet.

You can buy Bellamy’s Alice + Olivia Tina Floral Ball Gown Skirt from Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.

    Not a good look

Simple, red top and it would have been great.

A truly bad look on her, it doesn’t suit her at all.

To be honest I wouldn’t change a thing. I adore this look and think the pieces work beautifully together. In fact, I want to copy that look right away.

The skirt is already loud, I’d go with a pale blue top.

A structured oxford, slim-fitted,button-down would’ve been perfect to balance the floatiness of the skirt. As it is, I agree with FC about liking each piece as a separate, but the stripes would’ve needed to be smaller to work in harmony with the print of the skirt.

Nice to see her step outside her comfort zone though.

I really like this look. The only change I might have made is to shorten the skirt to just below the knee. I think it is a cute look and the patterns go nicely. The navy helps that.

I would’ve preferred a simple white cropped top. She does wear the skirt well.

The combination of these two pieces is so unexpected that it actually works. Wasn’t Miranda Kerr or Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who said people should try mixing different prints and patterns? I love it.

Love the skirt, although i like the pants more. I would’ve styled it with white polkadot top (black big dots)

A simple white top would have been my choice. The stripes and florals is all too much.

OMG! My eyes! This is a no no no.

I don’t think it looks that great. I agree with using the skirt instead. And the hand/pocket placement makes her look like she’s playing with herself rather than just putting her hand in her pocket…
