Amanda Seyfried In Lanvin – Shiseido ‘Cle de Peau Beaute’ Press Conference

Amanda Seyfried In Lanvin - Shiseido 'Cle de Peau Beaute' Press Conference

Amanda Seyfried was at the ‘Clé de Peau Beauté’ press conference, held today (June 2) in Tokyo, Japan.

The actress and Clé de Peau Beauté muse went for high drama in a Lanvin deep purple, frosted-lace dress featuring a shimmering gold lamé underlay and a wide, black satin belt.

Here, the lacy dress was the main attraction, as it should have been. A bronze-metallic eye and dark rose lip, alongside a casually swept-back updo, were impactful without being overdone.

Nude Rupert Sanderson ‘Yves’ stilettos really did nearly disappear from view, which was quite alright, as a more elaborate shoe may have sent this look over the edge.

Not liking the sleeves and the shiny lamé underlay.

The belt looks so chunky and heavy. Not liking this

I don’t like this dress and I don’t think it suits her. I really don’t like the sleeves. It all just looks messy and not flattering.

The dress looks kinda dowdy on her.

I don’t think she pulls this off.

This is so bad on her. Not suited on her at all and is horribly styled. Just no

Wow, okay, I actually wanted to say that, well, it’s nothing angainst her Alexander McQueen look for the ‘A million ways to die in the West’ London Photocall, but I kinda like this. It isn’t overstyled, everything seems quite appropriate and in place and the dress is a mix of drama and a little bit of a layful attitude, so, yes, I like it.

it looks great on the model (probably because she’s black and it gives a better look to the sleeves) and the proportions are bad on Amadan she looks like she has a curtain on and it’s a shame with such a piece of art
