Celine Sallette In Valentino – ‘Geronimo’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Celine Sallette In Valentino - 'Two Days, One Night' ('Deux Jours, Une Nuit') Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Celine Sallette attended the ‘Geronimo’ premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 20) in Cannes, France.

The French actress wore a super-fine pale-blush tulle Valentino Resort 2014 gown, with delicate yellow, green and pink beading making this a truly special piece.

The attention to detail is exquisite, even heavenly.

If I had to nit-pick, I wish she hadn’t worn the platform heels so that her gown would have been able to graze the carpet.

I’m so glad I can finally mark this off my red carpet wish list.

    I dislike the length.

      Me too. And the platforms.

The chunky platforms stick out like a sore thumb, making the skirt length look odd. Not a fan of the waistline seam – perhaps a delicate belt would’ve improved the look along with more support in the bust and better hair and makeup. Her bright lip is too harsh against this ethereal gown – a light pink lip would’ve been much nicer. Overall, it’s pretty, ethereal gown, just wish her presentation was a bit better.

It’s pretty, but also supremely boring to me :( But definitely pretty.

The length/shoe combo is tragic indeed. Can’t say the rest is a win either though.

I love this heavenly confection of a gown, I completely adore it. I’m saddened by the shoes and the way it makes the gown stiffly float like that, like it was on a museum stand.

An exquisite gown ruined by the shoes. I think the style is too twee on her (I see this on Keira Knightley or Diane Kruger to add some nonchalance and edge) but it’s the too-tall shoes (or too-short hem) that irks me.
