Arlenis Sosa attended the ‘Two Days, One Night’ (‘Deux Jours, Une Nuit’) premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 20) in Cannes, France.
The model dazzled on the red carpet, wearing a Julien Macdonald Fall 2014 gold-embellished dress with all the expected slits and cut-outs you expect from the Welsh designer.
Despite the predictably, I was going to give this a pass because I love the colour against her skin tone.
Sadly, the look was ruined for me as the ‘illusion’ panel at the back not only had a seam running through it, but also didn’t match her skin tone – meaning that the illusion wasn’t really there.
Chopard drop earrings completed her look.

Not really into this.
the slit is too high, it makes it look tacky.
Good grief. But the panel aside I don’t really think this is RC material. It still comes off slightly tacky. I’d rather see this presented in an interesting photo shoot.
What a shame about the illusion panel ruining this dress. What incredibly gorgeous legs this woman has.
tacky, that all i can say about her look
also, there are too many models that attending the cannes premieres than the actors themselves, which, i’m excited about their red carpet look more
This is tacky looking
I cannot understand how a professional could turn out such an ill-tailored illusion panel. The fabric is not smooth enough and there are visible seams, one of them big and obvious. Ugh. And then it doesn’t even come close to matching her skin.
She looks gorgeous in that gold though.
Can we hire a huge football player to escort her around, always standing right behind her? 😀
Arlenis is a gorgeous woman. Her skin is positively radiant and that smile is wonderful. The golden aspect of the gown is perfect for her.
But – yes. The illusion panel is atrocious. I don’t understand how it was overlooked. It seems impossible to imagine.
The illusion panel is really bad.
+1 – really bad.
