Nicki Minaj In Alexander McQueen – 2014 Billboard Music Awards

Nicki Minaj In Alexander McQueen - 2014 Billboard Music Awards

Nicki Minaj turned heads at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, held on Sunday (May 18) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Her new restrained and refined style personality shows no sign of letting up, as she once again eschewed her crazier theatrics and fashion contraptions for a far quieter outing.

Continuing her recent run of Alexander McQueen gowns, she selected a black cutout design from the Spring 2014 collection.

Unlike her black McQueen at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, this one wasn’t over-accessorized, as she smartly accented the dress with two cuffs and statement earrings.

Retro waves and a subtle smoky eye were all that she needed to wrap up this elegant-edgy look.

Even though we’ve already seen this gown on Brandy Norwood earlier this year, I still cannot help but be impressed with Nicki’s effort.

A pity about the under-boob. But she looks good.

+3. I would also like a little more glow in her makeup.

She’s a bit too boobalicious for this particular dress but I must say I love her effort. The presentation h2t is very nice.

This is kind of working for me. It’s restrained but it’s still a little wild, it still feels like her. It’s “serious Nikki” and not, “serious actress outfit”.

Underboob is never good in public BUT i’m so glad to see her beautiful face and that she’s not dressed like a clown, I can forgive the underboob. This time.

How does one not know that with boobs that huge you cannot possibly wear a dress like this or is the under boob part of the appeal for her ??

    She looks so good.

IMO, she looks good. her boobs look fantastic and don’t overwhelm the look. I’m liking the dark minimalism she’s going for, but she adds her signature flare via the gold cuffs. J’adore.

I just think she is so utterly unattractive and annoying it really doesn’t matter what she puts on I’m never going to like it. And believe me, I’ve tried.

+1. She has no class whatsoever. She ruined a beautiful dress. When she saw that the dress did not include all of her, why did she insist on wearing it ? So, the underboob is on purpose. NO from me.

    Micki looks really good!

first time i liked her look, i believe she went especially for underboob :S

I really want to love this look especially because I like her more understated and elegant approach to red carpet dressing, but the fit around the bust is terrible. With a cleavage like hers, it needed to be altered.

Classy minus her breast falling out the bottom. She’s one lucky girl to be blessed to wear so much McQueen lately. Too bad she screwed it up.
