Cher Lloyd In Mikael D – 2014 Billboard Music Awards

Cher Lloyd In Mikael D - 2014 Billboard Music Awards

Cher Lloyd attended the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, hosted on Sunday evening (May 18) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The British musician wore a Mikael D purple, cap-sleeved cocktail dress featuring black bodycon detailing and no lack of extreme beading.

She completed the hyper embellished look with metallic, peep-toe heels, a pretty fuchsia lip and two-tone hair coaxed into a high top knot.

While I appreciate her embrace of colour, the overall effect translated as a bit overwrought and costume-y.

    No. No. No.

Ice skater, inexpensive looking, busy, bad shoes, bad prom.

    Just no.

Didn’t Britney Spears wear the same thing but in a different color to the PCAs

The dress does look rather cheap, I fear, and the shoes are just wrong. The two-tone hair only adds to the overall, low-rent feel.
The color is nice on her though.

This is hard to look at, it’s just so cheap looking and poorly made, like an imitation.

Yes, I agree. Looks like a cheap version of a Zuhair Murad dress.

Okay, this dress is the straw that’s sent me over the edge. I am officially sick and tired of the bright colored embellished gowns/dresses. And I don’t care who designed it, I don’t want to see another red, green, or purple vibrant embellished number. Designers move on.
