Carrie Underwood In Oriett Domenech – 2014 Billboard Music Awards

Carrie Underwood In Oriett Domenech - 2014 Billboard Music Awards

Carrie Underwood struck a stunning pose on the red carpet of the 2014 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas tonight (May 18).

The singer and highly hyped performer for the show wore a striking art deco-inspired gown by designer Oriett Domenech.

The vibrant color and intricate overlay detailing made this look an immediate standout on the red carpet, and L’Dezen Jewellery earrings were the perfect compliment to the look.

She further styled the look with Rodo clutch and Brian Atwood pumps.

A heavy smokey eye, glossy peach lips and her slightly darker locks pulled into a modern version of a 1920s sweep completed the ultra glamorous turn on the carpet.

The dress is cheese and tacky

I’m sorry but this is an eyesore

The entire look is so ‘mature’ aka old. Hair, makeup, dress. Everything.

I like the concept of the dress but execution sucks.

Maybe this dress would work as a mini.

I’m not liking at all those sheer panels on the skirt, and I also wish this dress had a different color, and is it me or she has like something grey in her hair? She looks older.

I like the dress and accessories but would’ve preferred it on someone else

This isn’t Art Deco. It’s cheese-tastic with those skulls on her tits. Horrible.

why is she still featured on here?? this girl has never given us a great fashion moment. She always whips out the weirdest prom like dress from these unknown designers, she needs a MAJOR style revamp.

I love this from head to toe. It’s perfect for the event and I love she always goes for that extra touch of sparkle and glam.

I don’t like the gown. At all.

As usual– great gown, HORRIBLE hair and makeup.

Carrie’s makeup is horrendous which is saying something as she is very pretty. This is not pleasing to the eye at all.

That gown is awful, especially the colour combinations. And that aging hairstyle and her makeup aren’t any better either. I don’t like this at all.

    Horrible makeup

the gown is interesting but she didnt pull it off.

I can barely focus on the dress because of my overwhelming desire to wash off Carrie’s dirty-looking makeup.

Her excessive tan is ruining this great dress for me.

  19. Tina May 19, 2014 at 17:29 #

The makeup is atrocious, and the dress is a no from me.

horrible hair and make-up (as usual, though particularly bad tonight)….not sure about the colour on her, think this chartreuse shade would look lovely on Lupita.

While I appreciate Carrie’s effort to look edgy (for perhaps the first time in her career) and bring something different to the table, this is poorly executed. She cannot seem to let go of that pageant-queen hair or those heavy spider lashes. She’s also too petite to carry off this look. A dress this intricate needs to be saved for a seasoned professional.

The earrings were by L’ Dezen no what is listed. Please change.
