Hilary Swank In Atelier Versace – ‘The Homesman’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Hilary Swank In Atelier Versace - 'The Homesman' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Hilary Swank attended ‘The Homesman’ premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 18) in Cannes, France.

Donatella is on quite a roll, as this was the second stunning Atelier Versace creation to hit the red carpet in as many days.

The fitted silouette is one we are familiar with seeing on Hilary; if I was her, I would want to show off that body too.

Cut with an asymmetrical neckline with a lightly pleated criss-cross bodice, the gown also features a draped back.

Dazzling with sapphire Chopard jewels, Hilary completed her look with silver Jimmy Choo ‘Kallai’ sandals and a silver Jimmy Choo ‘Cameo’ clutch, with sleek, side-swept tresses providing the finishing touches.

The only thing preventing this from being a BDOTY contender are those creases on the skirt.

Oh come on FC, you know you wanna give her BDOTY. She is a goddess and her gorgeous earrings are your favorite color…

Miuccia Prada needs to take tips from Donatella on how to make customs because I can’t think of a cracrash custom from Donatella.

I refuse to see the creases. She looks stunning.

Perfect glamourous edgy that.is my favourite dress of cannes 2014 until now

I got my prediction right! Yaay!

    She looks beautiful. Simply beautiful.

    She looks flawless!

She looks beautiful! Not blown away! The hair bothers me a little!

  7. justme May 18, 2014 at 19:55 #

She looks lovely and those earrings are to die for. But I was kinda expecting more from her.

The dress is spectacular and it looks just fabulous on her–talk about statuesque! But I agree her hair is a bit of a downer and I would like to see a little more color in her makeup.

This is nice but BDOTW worthy

  10. Yeliz May 18, 2014 at 20:07 #

The gown looks dated to me, but overall she does look good.

Yes, I’m not feeling it either. These asymmetrical necklines hardly ever work for me. Love verything else though!

I adore this gown. This is the third amazing Atelier Versace in a few days (I appreciate even the white dress worn by Angelina Jolie for the photocall of “Maleficient”). I predict a lot of Versace for BDOTY 20014.

This is nice but I feel like it is making her look way too long in the torso. Love the earrings though.

  13. Hannah May 18, 2014 at 20:29 #

I don’t care about the creases. She looks radiant and flawless. Absolutely BDOTW worthy.

  14. Marybeth May 18, 2014 at 20:34 #

    Very nice!
The creases do bother me and the hair is rather blah, but otherwise it’s a good look.

Once again I am simply blown away by how much love this dress is getting. I swear every hollywood actress has worn this dress in different colors, it is beyond dated.

  16. Xiomalys Crespo May 19, 2014 at 03:25 #

The creases are the least of our worries. While the dress is flattering, the design is dated, the color is doing nothing for her, and the earrings feel like a desperate attempt to make the look interesting.

A very MEH effort for Cannes.

Love the dress. Would have picked different jewelry and had better makeup.

  18. EmmaWoodhouse May 19, 2014 at 03:54 #

Elegant and a strong look, but those creases…ugh, they’re killing it for me.

    • Jess2 May 19, 2014 at 05:48 #

+1 – her earrings are spectacular! Damn those creases!

I never wear silk– is it possible to avoid creases, if you sit down?

  21. d May 19, 2014 at 10:47 #

  22. TeaAtTwo May 19, 2014 at 20:23 #
