Rosario Dawson In Sportmax – ‘Captives’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Rosario Dawson In Sportmax - ‘Captives’ Cannes Film Festival Photocall

Rosario Dawson joined co-stars Mireille Enos and Ryan Reynolds for the ‘Captives’ photocall during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival this morning (May 16) in Cannes, France.

Still sporting a part-shaved hairdo, she went in the opposite direction to Mireille, donning an edgier look.

Her splatter-print Sportmax Fall 2014 pencil dress with a peplum detail was further punctuated with black and white Bionda Castana pumps and Tom Tom jewelry.

I absolutely adore the contrast between the ladylike silhouette and the cool painterly print.

This effort has me excited for the premiere.

    Hmm, this is awful.
Without a belt, the peplum effect is lost and the top half becomes really unflattering. Also, the print of dress is so busy that she should have opted for plain shoes. Is the hair for a role? I hope so.

I love the dress, but I miss the belt and I don’t think those shoes were the best choice.

Missing a belt but otherwise a cool look. I just don’t like the hair. Hope she delivers tonight.

I really like this! It’s fun and joyful.
I agree that a belt —maybe a thin black one?— and a sleek pony tail might have improved the look, but I still give it a thumbs up.

Too much clashing going on. I like pieces but not together.

Both prints are gorgeous and they work very well together IMO. I love this look.

Jeez, way too much going on here: the dress with the belt and simple white pumps, maybe a black line echoing the belt, then we’d be in business.

    Vibrant, exciting look, love it.

the top looks bad without the belt. not flattering. I do like the clash of prints

      I agree.

For me this is pretty much a hot mess. The shoes and the hair are total look killers in my opinion. I could go with the top and skirt if everything quieted down a little.
