Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here’s a quick menswear roundup.

Josh Hartnett: The actor joined his co-star Eva Green for Sky Atlantic’s photocall for ‘Penny Dreadful’ held at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel on Monday (May 12) in London, England. Opting once again for Dior Homme, the actor wore a navy wool two-button notch-lapel suit, a white cotton covered-placket shirt and black leather derbies, punching up the look with a patterned tie.

David Beckham: The former soccer star attended the private launch of David Beckham For H&M Swimwear held at Shoreditch House on Wednesday (May 14) in London, England. Looking gorgeous in all black, I love the sexy, laidback vibe he had going on here. The leather-collared coat really brings the whole look together. Brown Christian Louboutin ‘Antonio’ flats completed his look.

Michael Fassbender: The handsome actor attended the UK Premiere of ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ held at Odeon Leicester Square on Monday (May 12) in London, England. He wore a Thom Sweeney windowpane three-piece suit, blue shirt and dark-blue silk tie, accessorizing with a pair of John Lobb ‘Chigwell’ maroon lace-up shoes. Sadly, the pant length is too long here.

Darren Criss: The ‘Glee’ actor attended the New York premiere of ‘The Normal Heart’ held at the Ziegfeld Theater on Monday (May 12) in New York City alongside Julia Roberts. Always one to add a touch of colour to the red carpet, he donned a burgundy Z Zegna two-button peak-lapel suit with a grey shirt and a mauve tie, completing the look with tan-coloured shoes when black would’ve been a more predictable choice.

James McAvoy: The Scottish actor joined Michael Fassbender for the ‘X Men: Days of Future Past’ London premiere, looking even more dapper in his all-blue Prada showing. I’m enjoying the intense hue of this well-tailored suit.

Djimon Hounsou: Looking as smooth as ever, the actor attended the opening ceremony and the ‘Grace of Monaco’ premiere during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (May 14). Working a classic shawl-collared-lapel Calvin Klein Collection suit with a satin trim on the trousers, he completed his look with Christian Louboutin ‘New Platers’ flats.
