The Royal Marsden Dinner Red Carpet Roundup

The Royal Marsden Dinner Red Carpet Roundup

There were plenty more lovely ladies, plus Benedict Cumberbatch, who attended The Royal Marsden Dinner, hosted by the Duke of Cambridge at Windsor Castle in England on Tuesday (May 13).

Zhang Ziyi, Emma Watson and Margot Robbie all wore grey, but here we have a lot of black Ralph Lauren looks.

Kate Moss: The British model was the only one not to follow the Ralph Lauren dress code, opting for a black one-sleeve dress with a side slit styled with sexy black strappy Christian Louboutin ‘Audrey’ sandals and a silver clutch.

Benedict Cumberbatch: Following on from his Met Gala best-dressed-actor triumph, the ‘Sherlock’ star proved it was no fluke, looking very dashing in a Ralph Lauren Black Label peak-lapel tuxedo.

Lily James: Looking very much the lady of the manor, the ‘Downton Abbey’ actress wore a Ralph Lauren one-of-a-kind black and gold gown embroidered with feathers and beads. This was one of my favourites: dramatic and glamorous.

Sophie Turner: The ‘Game of Thrones’ star wore a Ralph Lauren black silk-taffeta one-shoulder gown styled with a silver embellished Ralph Lauren clutch. I like how the side-swept ponytail keeps this look youthful.

Cara Delevingne: The British model wore a beaded Ralph Lauren black halter gown, going heavy on the eye makeup and topping off the look with a white clutch and a topknot.

Kate Moss, Sophie Turner : boring
Cara Delevingne : I like the make up but the pose is wrong and the dress is dull.
Lily James : beautiful dress ! The easy styling is perfect, she’s beautiful here/
    Benedict : great, as usual.

Kudos to Ralph, cause they all look nice. I also like the variety, from simple and modern to the full on glamour gown. Well done. I usually like some colour, but the the black – grey – white pattern didn’t bore me at all!

I love the “there were plenty more ladies, plus Benedict Cumberbatch” so much :D Takes me back to my IT-specialized secondary school years, where one professor always adressed the class as “Gentlemen, and Simona”. Ah, memories.

Anyway, Lily James is my clear favourite of the event.
