Emma Watson In Ralph Lauren – The Royal Marsden Dinner

Emma Watson In Ralph Lauren - The Royal Marsden Dinner

Emma Watson also was in the mix, alongside Zhang Ziyi and Margot Robbie, at the Duke of Cambridge’s Royal Marsden dinner held on Tuesday (May 13) at Windsor Castle in England.

Following suit, she likewise kept the grey theme alive in her Ralph Lauren Fall 2014 ensemble, consisting of a beautifully draped skirt and a structured white button-down shirt.

The juxtaposition of the tailored top with the elegant fluidity of the skirt couldn’t have been more chic, especially when styled with a thin white belt, metallic box Roger Vivier Maxi Boite de Nuit clutch and that dramatic oxblood lip.

This ensemble was a classically effortless interpretation of the runway styling. Do you agree?

Repossi ear cuff, Ana Khour necklace and Monica Vinader ring also accessorized her look.

  2. from-chitown May 14, 2014 at 14:46 #

Not liking it … at all. Too casual, too aging… and a bit sloppy.

  6. Noemi May 14, 2014 at 10:03 #

I would have probably chosen a grey belt, but i really like it, she looks very classy.

  7. Marilyn May 14, 2014 at 09:32 #

Love, love, love – reminiscent of Sharon Stone at the ’98 Oscars

  8. maggy May 14, 2014 at 09:27 #

I literally *love* every aspect of how she styled this look. She nailed it!

  9. kane May 14, 2014 at 09:09 #

I really like this, but it does feel very business lunch-y.

  10. elena May 14, 2014 at 09:04 #

  11. Jazz May 14, 2014 at 07:23 #

I am talking about the tag…

  12. Jazz May 14, 2014 at 06:28 #

It’s Emma Watson not Emma Roberts…

    • Catherine Kallon May 14, 2014 at 07:17 #

That’s what the posts says so I don’t understand your comment at all.

      • towanda May 14, 2014 at 07:24 #

s/he talks about tags. post has a tag as emma roberts 🙂

  13. Pedro May 14, 2014 at 06:03 #

    Wow! Emma looks amazing

    BDOTW for sure

  14. pinksugar May 14, 2014 at 04:47 #

I never enjoy her style as I always find it too old and boring. This is no different.

  15. Alina May 14, 2014 at 04:16 #

I think she looks amazing – elegant, sophisticated.
Plus, this is how you do the elegant shirt thing right, Julia Roberts!

    • Yeliz May 14, 2014 at 08:16 #

      ITA.

  16. chyc May 14, 2014 at 03:56 #

Love this look! She looks so sophisticated.

  17. arwa May 14, 2014 at 03:48 #

Am I the only one who’s having a deja vu? May be I’m too old, but this is so Sharon Stone Oscars 98 . Not that it is a bad thing, it just I kept seeing Sharon in these pictures of Emma

    • peach May 15, 2014 at 00:02 #

Yes, my thoughts exactly! When she wore her husband’s Gap shirt.

  18. Ashlee May 14, 2014 at 03:39 #

I adore this look. So sophisticated and beautiful

    • bas May 14, 2014 at 20:15 #

      +1

  19. Alex May 14, 2014 at 03:34 #

Very Carolina Herrera like. Unfortunately too ageing.

  20. Georgia May 14, 2014 at 03:12 #

Wow–she looks like Carolina Herrera here!

    • Iva May 14, 2014 at 08:32 #

      My thoughts exactly.

  21. Kate May 14, 2014 at 02:58 #

Guess I’m in the minority here…I think her petite frame is completely dwarfed by this ensemble. At the very least, the waist on the skirt needed to be higher, hemmed, and worn with a different belt. But in general I think it ages her awfully 🙁

  22. CreoleLady May 14, 2014 at 02:57 #

Dislike the blouse with this skirt. It’s not terrible, just a little blah — dull color, indifferent fit, uninspired accessories.

  23. adrian May 14, 2014 at 02:43 #

she looks like carolina herrera at age 25. it’s a good thing in terms of style and sophistication, but it does date her.

  24. Mandy May 14, 2014 at 02:17 #

I find this look to be the epitome of grace and elegance. She is so stunning I wouldn’t change anything. If it wasn’t for Cannes starting this week I would suggest this for BDOTW.

  25. Julia May 14, 2014 at 02:15 #

    Stunning as usual.
    Love it. BDOTW worthy!

But it’s Emma Watson, not Robert (tag) 😉

  26. Chris May 14, 2014 at 02:13 #

I would prefer a different more feminine top to go with that amazing skirt. I don’t like the hair do.

  27. Danielle May 14, 2014 at 02:12 #

Love it. I agree that she looks effortlessly elegant.

  28. Marybeth May 14, 2014 at 02:03 #

    Nice.
I would have liked this more if the waist were higher — or if she had worn a grey belt to make it seem so.
As it is, the proportions are a bit top heavy. With that flowy skirt, I’d like a longer-legged feel.

  29. justme May 14, 2014 at 01:54 #

    Underdressed imo.

  30. AnderBoBo May 14, 2014 at 01:50 #

Extremely sophisticated and I love how the beautiful draping detail of that skirt is the star of this outfit. Styling is on point as well.

  31. Christine May 14, 2014 at 01:43 #

I like this. The dark lipstick ages her slightly though

    • dee May 14, 2014 at 02:22 #

      I agree.
