Born Free is a global initiative with a single goal: to end mother-to-child HIV transmission by Dec. 31, 2015.
Claire Danes attended the Born Free Africa Mother’s Day Family Carnival held at Hudson River Park Pier 45 on Sunday (May 11) in New York City aimed at making money for the cause and raising awareness.
In support of the initiative, the actress wore a look from the Born Free collection, which is available exclusively from Shopbop.com.
Her Born Free printed maxi dress, designed exclusively by Marni’s creative director Consuelo Castiglioni, uses the Born Free print which features throughout the collection.
Other designers that have created pieces for this collection include Alberta Ferretti, Carolina Herrera, Clare Waight Keller for Chloe, Diane von Furstenberg, Donatella Versace, Donna Karan, Georgina Chapman & Keren Craig of Marchesa, Isabel Marant, Miuccia Prada, Phoebe Philo, Rachel Roy, Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Tory Burch, Vera Wang and Victoria Beckham.
