Jessie J In Vivienne Westwood Gold Label – 2014 Delete Blood Cancer Gala

Jessie J In Vivienne Westwood Gold Label - 2014 Delete Blood Cancer GalaJessie J was in attendance at the 2014 Delete Blood Cancer Gala on Wednesday (May 7) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, where she also took to the stage to perform.

The British songstress wore a Vivienne Westwood Gold Label Fall 2014 design, consisting of teal rose-print, silk palazzo trousers and matching square-neck silk tee.

The top, which featured a casual grey number-jersey back, appeared to be worn in reverse from the lookbook styling.

Perhaps the intention was to dress up the pyjama effect via the giant hoop earrings, gold wedge heels and chain-link belt. But the effect was more overcooked than well done.

I just cannot get behind this look—not as a red-carpet ensemble or as a performance piece.

I guessed it was back to front as soon as I saw it. It just looks wrong. It’s a shame she doesn’t relax a bit more with fashion. All this high end clothing at her disposal and she rarely gets it right.

I think we should all just be grateful Jessie J hasn’t resorted to a life of crime, because who could ever pick her out of a lineup? She’d get away scott free every time.

I love her hair. It’s so becoming and pretty. I would have liked the top better as a open v-neck. I don’t mind the accessories.

You’d pick her out alright- her clothes would be back to front…

The top is nice and I like her styling, but no to the trousers.

The peace in itself isn’t bad at all, I like the print and the kinda easy-going cut – but that’s just too much of everything! The earrings, the shoes, the belt, the trousers… Chill, girl…
