Katharine McPhee In Katharine Kidd – People and Time Magazine White House Correspondents Cocktail Party
Katharine McPhee was also in the house at People and Time Magazine’s White House Correspondents’ Association cocktail party, hosted at the Astor Terrace of the St. Regis Hotel in Washington D.C. on Friday (May 2), where she joined Lupita Nyong’o.
After just recently wearing a fall-inspired look, the actress continued to walk on the sartorial dark side with a dramatic Katharine Kidd Fall 2014 frock.
The intricately embroidered burgundy dress with golden tangles of embellishment featured a sheer-effect panel at the bodice for a bit of sultry appeal.
She lightened the look with barefaced makeup and casual waves, along with more neutrals in the form of nude pumps and an ivory clutch, which may not have really belonged beside this ensemble. Yet they still worked on some level.
