Keira Knightley In Chanel Couture – ‘Begin Again’ Tribeca Film Festival Closing Night Gala Premiere

Keira Knightley In Chanel Couture - 'Begin Again' Tribeca Film Festival Closing Night Gala Premiere

Keira Knightley attended the closing night gala premiere of ‘Begin Again’ during the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival held at BMCC Tribeca PAC on Saturday (April 26) in New York City.

Dressed in Chanel, naturally, the British actress wore a pastel embroidered Couture dress from the Spring 2014 collection, featuring shimmering with sequin, a nipped in waist and an organza layered feather-like skirt.

The dress is outstanding. The detailing is breath-taking.

At first I wasn’t a fan of her black Jimmy Choo ‘Ari’ pumps but on reflection I understand that they are the perfect choice as they do nothing to upstage the dress and blend into the black carpet.

Makeup was kept neutral with glossy waves completing her high-end, high-fashion look.

I wasn’t a fan of this at first, but it’s growing on me.

This is exquisite. She looks amazing! Love the dress

Those black pumps have no business anywhere near this dress.

ITA. I think they actually DO upstage the dress because of the harsh contrast.

Awful. The dress looks heavy and I really hate the skirt part of the dress. The shoes don’t work with the dress. This is a miss for me.

I agree, the details and the embellishments of the dress are beautiful but, in my opinion, is too heavy and unflattering. The shoes are quite nonsense.

No to the black pumps despite the fact they blend into the carpet.
I want to yank the skirt up an inch or two, I feel it sits too low on Keira compared to the model, giving her weird body proportions (the model’s dress arms is closer to the skirt lining).
    Lovely fabric though.

Don’t like the dress but she pulls it off. No to the shoes.

the shape of the sleeve is unflattering for any kind of body and this heavy look of keira is the living proof. No no no

I like the dress but the shoes are a downer. I agree with vicky about how long the torso looks in this photo, but it works better in other shots. It is a gorgeous dress and her hair and makeup are very pretty.

Don’t like the skirt part, it looks heavy and bulky.

So beautiful is the detail on this dress! But, how many times is she going to wear this style? This is definitely my fav! I really like the length of the skirt, it changes the whole look. I love how she looks beautiful, but she hasn’t done anything to draw attention away from this masterpiece. However, those shoes are a NO, there had to be something else. The dress is so pretty, and those shoes are not.

    Above the belt: yay.
    Below the belt: nay.

I could not find this more UNAPPEALING! I respect the exquisite detailing of the dress but it is absolutely hideous and does nothing for her.
