Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Artist Dinner

Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Artist DinnerA palette of pretty young things were spotted at the 9th annual Chanel Artists Dinner on Tuesday (April 22), hosted during the Tribeca Film Festival at Balthazar in New York City. The glamorous soiree invited plenty of Chanel-infused looks, naturally, with most of the lovelies showing their love for the label.

Greta Gerwig: Pretty in pink, the actress embraced spring with her Chanel Spring 2014 distressed tweed dress matched to a pink and orange Chanel clutch. Nude pumps, a nude lip and a slicked-back ’do ensured that all attention was directed to her bright frock.

Lily Aldridge
: The model struck a shimmering chic stance in a Chanel Resort 2014 navy embroidered dress with chiffon overlay, paired with a silver clutch. With her simply styled brunette strands and barely-there makeup, I love how effortlessly and beautifully she pulls off what could be a fussy, tired iteration of the sheer trend.

Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Artist Dinner 2Joan Smalls: Working a structured frock from the Chanel Spring 2014 collection, the model made this look more about the styling with her navy Chanel plexi clutch and sculptural Tom Ford sandals. The choker necklace was perhaps unnecessary on this occasion, as her neon purple lashes were statement enough.

Anja Rubik: Joining the model mix, but sartorially eschewing Chanel, Anja wore a black netted and fringed design from the Spring 2014 collection of The Row. Unkempt locks and the no-makeup look completed this edgy bohemian entrance.

Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Artist Dinner 3Harley Viera-Newton: Taking a daintier approach, Harley dressed up in a Chanel white and petal-pink tweed frock, notably accented with the Chanel ‘Boy’ chain-strap mini bag—not to mention a lovely watermelon lip. It was all just sugary enough with being too sweet.

Hilary Rhoda: Looking model-perfect, she wore a Chanel Spring 2013 white knit body-con dress with a full skirt, all charmingly embellished with mini-bow details. Although the quilted black-patent Chanel clutch and strawberry-red lip are bold and seemingly disparate contrasts, somehow they work on Hilary. Summery yet soiree-ready.

Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Artist Dinner 4Leigh Lezark: The DJ rocked a Chanel Spring 2014 grey leather dress, which featured dangerously high side slits. A cool black-and-purple Chanel plexi clutch and black pumps certainly echoed her raven-hued bob.

Giovanna Battaglia
: Also appearing every bit ready to take on spring, the fashion editor wore a sunny yellow Chanel Spring 2014 knit dress with front zipper detail, along with a fluttery sleeveless overcoat splashed with pops of rainbow hues. A statement handbag and nude block sandals completed her fresh, fun ensemble.

With a range of dark and light looks, who was your best-dressed in the bunch?
