Masami Nagasawa In Chloé – 4th Beijing Film Festival

Masami Nagasawa In Chloé - 4th Beijing Film Festival

Masami Nagasawa took to the red carpet for the 4th Beijing International Film Festival held at China’s National Grand Theatre on Wednesday (April 16) in Beijing, China.

The Japanese actress opted not to wear a gown as expected; instead she marched to the beat of her own drum, wearing a Chloé Spring 2014 black spaghetti-strap handkerchief-hem frock with metallic embroidery and a gold-brass chain trim.

She complemented the look with gold Christian Louboutin ‘Valnina’ glitter-finished and leather sandals and opted for minimal, if any, makeup.

Was this look too muted for a film festival, or does this come as a refreshing change of pace?

Refreshing is what I was thinking too! With all the super heavily blinged out looks lately, this is like a breeze of fresh air. Love both the dress & the shoes!

This is such a delightful look that I will forgive her for dressing down.
If you stretch the rules of event appropriateness, you’d better at least come up with a great look. I think Masami passes the test. Love it.

I really dislike the dress. Nothing about the look is the dress, disturbing!
