Lea Seydoux In Miu Miu – 4th Beijing Film Festival

Lea Seydoux In Miu Miu - 4th Beijing Film Festival

Lea Seydoux attended the 4th Beijing International Film Festival at China’s National Grand Theatre on Wednesday (April 16) in Beijing, China.

Becoming the quite the queen of film festival dressing, the French actress stuns – just as she did at the Berlin Film Festival – wearing a breathtaking gown by Miu Miu.

As always, Miuccia likes to keep us on our toes, serving up a few misses (Kacey Musgraves at the ACM Awards and Du Juan at the Hong Kong Film Awards) before a gem like this takes to the red carpet.

Giving us the princess moment from this event, her pretty lilac jacquard gown with an embellished bodice and navy grosgrain waistband was styled with a simple bun and fierce blue eye makeup.

Does this beat her Berlin look, or are they equally brilliant in their own unique ways?

This is such a great look! Princess but with an edge. Love her hair and makeup also!

    Lea’s second BDOTY!

    Perfection personified!

Not wowed. This is pretty but that’s it for me.

I’m on the fence about this one. On the one hand, the overall look is lovely. OTOH, the dress itself strikes me as a bit cheesy.

Come to think of it, that was pretty much my reaction to the Berlin look too. The garment itself was ….doubtful. The presentation somehow lifted it up.

What can I say? The Lea + Miuccia combination just works. This is a BDOTW contender for me.

Its definitely a show stopping gown… but I am not too fond of the fabric and color combo – it looks too shiny. But she is definitely working it.

the fabric of the dress looks a bit cheap for me. But this is Lea, she looks good in pretty much anything plus she’s the best ambassador for Miucca.

Can’t say I love it. It has to be a mind-blowing dress for me to like strapless (aka Marion Cotillard at the Baftas) and this isn’t it.

I want to like this but I don’t. Maybe it’s the lighting? It just looks so shiny. I think I’d like it on someone else. I really dislike her hair and the bareness of her chest with this dress. It really does nothing for the dress. It’s unfortunate because I think this could have been unbelievable.

I really don’t like this. I don’t think it fits her well and her posture is tilted forward which is distracting. You can see her shoes in another photo and they are also big platforms. Must be standard issue in Beijing. The dress, and the amount of skin up top, make her look sort of amazonian.

It doesn’t beat the Berlinale look in my eyes, but she looks enchanting. Simple styling was the right choice. My only complaint is that the top part sits a bit too low.

With the proper support/fit, I might have liked this. But the strapless rides too low imo; she looks a bit frumpy up top to me.

    I’m stunned! BDOTY contender without a doubt♥

I just don’t get this dress – shiny curtain material anyone? If you shrank it, it looks like something you would by your daughter at a fairy costume shop.

This is good but not great The one that she wore at the Berlin Film Festival is way better and is already on my BDOTY list.

This dress is stunning ! BDOTW !

I’m normally not a fan of the ‘princess’ dress but her i think Lea looks nice and carries it well. Don’t like the fabric but overall its quite nice.

I was not wowed by her Berlin look and this wowes me even less.
The fit is off and the dress looks kind of cheap.
But I have to admit that despite everything she manages to carry this look quite well.

  19. Fer April 17, 2014 at 08:46 #

If she had pulled the dress 1 inch higher, I think this would have been absolutely gorgeous.

  20. Evil Britta April 17, 2014 at 09:30 #

    Cannot decide between the two!

  21. Noemi April 17, 2014 at 10:11 #

I think the dress looks a bit cheap and a bit too long.

  22. kane April 17, 2014 at 14:36 #

Doesn’t do much for me frankly.

  23. towanda April 18, 2014 at 12:23 #

    don’t like it
