Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Erdem – Rainbow Place Children’s Hospice Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Erdem - Rainbow Place Children's Hospice Visit

On day six of her three week tour of Australia and New Zealand, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge visited the Rainbow Place Children’s Hospice in Hamilton, New Zealand on Saturday (April 12).

If there’s one thing, Catherine knows how to wear extremely well, it’s a tailored coat.

On this occasion she wore a demure Erdem Pre-Fall 2013 bright grass-green, wool-crepe coat featuring a tab-detailed waist drawing attention to the narrowest point.

Cut to the knee, the coat totally obscures a budding heart print Suzannah tea dress she wore under the coat.

Black pumps and a Mulberry clutch accessorized her look.

It may not seem that impressive from afar, but this is actually has many interesting seams when viewed in close up shots.

Super boring, we understand the restrictions being a royal carries but that does not excuse her. The are many other royals out there older and more chic than her, having fun with fashion. She’s gotten worse. Apparently the palace can dictate everything she does. She’s so determined not to put a foot wrong that she’s compromised on her most important asset. Her image. I have nothing nice to say about this look. Boring hair, boring ugly shoes another coat.

We must not forgot about the fact she is the only royal who let her skirt flies. She has absolutely no excuse for that and the boring style

Actually most Americans I have spoken to her thinkshe dresses well, I think however that she is extremely dull . I understand she has a role but she does not have to dress as poorly as she does . Classic and ladylike can be chic. She is not chic. She phones in her outfits and bores me to death.

Her clothes are classic and tailored by design. Since she is paying a state visit she must wear formal and classic clothes.

I think that most people, Americans in particular, forget that the royal family does actually have a political, if only ceremonial role to play. Their clothes must reflect this. I think that Kate is picking up some fashion tips from the Queen. A tailored coat in a bright shade that will make her stand out in a crowd.

In other words… Caeser may be Caeser, but Caeser’s wife must wear tailored coats. Duchess Kate cannot wear the same clothes as an attention grabbing starlet.
