Kiernan Shipka In Nina Ricci - ‘Mad Men’ Season 7 LA Premiere

Kiernan Shipka attended the Season 7 premiere of ‘Mad Men’ held at the ArcLight Cinemas on Wednesday (April 2) in Hollywood, California alongside co-stars January Jones and Christina Hendricks.

The young actress wore a Nina Ricci Fall 2014 long-sleeved floral jacquard dress in moody fall-like hues featuring tonal piping at the bateau neck, corset-inspired seams at the front waist, a V-neck back and a front-pleated full mini skirt.

With a sheen enhancing her shine, she kept the look simple, adding blue Stuart Weitzman’s popular ‘Nudist’ sandals and a hint of pink lip colour, rounding out the look with a simple ponytail.

The proportions feel off with this dress…like the skirt needs to be a bit longer?

I thought the skirt should be shorter ?? like the runway version?

Love how she always looks better than rest of the Mad Men team. So young and so stylish already.

I think I would’ve like this more if it was sleeveless. The sleeves and hair made her look older

    Very cute. She looks fantastic!

She looke cute again. I love those shoes.

She is my best dressed at this event and a BDOTW contender for me. She looks wonderful–makes this dress work for her youth, though the back is a tad revealing for her age imo.

I agree that the proportions seem a little off: the skirt is a little too long, and it seems a little tight in the bust. However, it’s still lovely. Those shoes are fantastic.

Actually, from the back it doesn’t seem too long at all. I think it’s the pleating and extra layering in the front that makes the skirt fall oddly.

The slightly longer skirt on her is much better – on the model it looks too disproportionately tiny. She looks cute, but would’ve preferred short sleeves and more refreshing spring-y colour scheme for a more youthful flair.

…took a closer look, it’s all perfectly fine and works better on her than the model.

How can she just look this good all the time?

  13. Lila April 4, 2014 at 03:35 #

I would like this much better without the corset seaming. The colors and shape are beautiful on her and perfectly youthful but the seaming is too structured for such a young girl. It takes the ease out of the dress.
