Alison Brie In Marchesa – ‘Mad Men’ Season 7 LA Premiere

Alison Brie In Marchesa - ‘Mad Men’ Season 7 LA Premiere

>Alison Brie was also in attendance at the ‘Mad Men’ Season 7 premiere, hosted at the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood, California on Wednesday (April 2), where she was in good company with her other co-stars January Jones, Elisabeth Moss, Kiernan Shipka, Christina Hendricks, Jessica Pare and Teyonah Parris.

Like Kiernan, Alison was inspired by floral for this premiere look, donning a strapless nude Marchesa dress with an intricate cluster of embroidered buds and blooms in fall-like hues.

Complementing the frock, she wore metallic pewter Jimmy Choo ‘Valdez’ sandals and a rich berry lip whilst opting to keep her jewels minimal and her hair styled in simple waves.

Perhaps it’s the onslaught of spring, but this outing left me with a small craving for more sprightly, vivid hues.

Something is off–I think there’s a mis-match between the dress and her hair–she looks unfinished. I love the dress, but for me it’s not working here.

I agree, something keeps me from loving it entirely, but it’s nice enough.

…and I actually like the whole nude effect against her fair complexion – the floral emroidery is playing off it beautifully, and her berry lip and haircolour are just perfect with the overall colour scheme of the look.

I like it a lot, I just think Marchesa is stepping on Valentino’s toes.

There is something Off. I can’t exactly point out what is. It seems the material looks a bit cheap, like an upholstery textile more than a fine dressing fabric.

It’s a pretty nice look but I think the dress would look better on someone with a different complexion.

The background color of the dress is too close to her skin tone, IMO. I wish it were blue or…well, any color but nude.

I think she looks wonderful, I love everything about this look.

It really reminds me of the Jean Paul Gaultier gown that Crystal Renn modelled a few years ago, it’s almost like a copy.

She will b more gorgeous by making her hair exactly like on the runaway ;) ~ mostly the dress is not bad on her! she has a good skin tone to wear the flowery dress especially it’s a bright color
