Nicky Hilton In Valentino – ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ New York Screening

Nicky Hilton In Valentino - 'Captain America The Winter Soldier' New York ScreeningNicky Hilton joined Cobie Smulders for the ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ screening at the Tribeca Grand Hotel in New York City on Monday (March 31).

The socialite cut a striking profile in a Valentino Spring 2014 mini-frock with dramatic mesh detailing and geometric leather-appliqued patches in vivid shades of red and turquoise, which was inspired by Roman opera.

Influenced by the runway styling, she likewise carried a Valentino red fringed clutch—imparting a touch of Western coolness—and accented her centre-parted updo with a Grecian gold-leaf Ellen Hunter headband.

The look featured a wave of different fashion flavours and was all about multi-ethnic flair. What do you think?

    Unflattering

      And too twee for her.

The little dress is colourful and interesting and the runway-inspired headband goes well with it but I don’t think all this suits her. On someone younger, more girly-looking like Selena Gomez, it would’ve looked much nicer. The clutch is fussy and distracting and would’ve preferred a sandal instead of the plain pumps.

I think the dress makes her look wider than she is and I don’t like the clutch.

I like the look. Think she could have lost the bag.

Agree with the others comments about this not suiting her. Putting that aside, I don’t care for the shoes and the bag in that bright red hue doesn’t work.

I find the dress way too busy.

    I think she looks good!
And the headband is actually not Valentino, it’s Ellen Hunter http://www.ellenhunternyc.com/category/bands
