Lea Michele In Elie Saab – Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2014

Lea Michele In Elie Saab - Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2014
Lea Michele was also among the constellation of starlets at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, held on Saturday (March 29) at the USC Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Glee’ actress worked an Elie Saab Spring 2014 rosy pink frock to her advantage, striking a signature pose in the frilly lace.

She styled the look with cream-coloured Charlotte Olympia ‘Dolly’ pumps, featuring a gold platform, alongside a matching Fendi handbag, Anita Ko jewels, a bright fuchsia smile and a mussed-up, faux bob.

Unfortunately, the pretty pastel dress was a victim of its accessories. I couldn’t get past the too-bold lip, the too-large clutch and the too-clunky shoes, which all overpowered the daintier garden-party essence.

Such a shame about the fug clutch and shoes. I only like the dress, hair and makeup.

I don’t like anything – too short, lingeriesque and cheesy in pink. The chunky shoes and cutesy hair/makeup aren’t helping. Thumbs down all around.

      Agree.
      NOTHING here works for me.

+2 this is a tacky saab dress and the accessories are very bad

Too cutesy for me. I wish the dress had a more grown up shape (pencil,or something else) cause the color is already youthful. and the shoes are indeed wrong

At first glance, I was like “Yes!”. I’m always excited when someone wears Elie Saab. But then I took a look at the accessories. Yikes is a good way to describe it.

Awful head to toe. The dress is tween yet trashy, the shoes are hideous, and the clutch is too big.

I only like the dress and I see why she chose to wear it at this event, but the styling is a disaster: the clutch is too big, the shoes – too chunky, the makeup – too much, the hair – too messy.

Yikes on the bag and shoes!

  8. Yeliz March 30, 2014 at 10:18 #

I don’t like anything about this look.

It’s a rare woman who turns to Elie Saab to fulfill her Betsy Johnson needs, but lo and behold.

Is it me or has Lea been recently doing only two looks – black, sexy and skin-ful or tooth-achingly sweet?
I don’t like it. With her diva quality, she can do way better.

    The dress is pretty.
