Jennifer Connelly In Saint Laurent – DuJour Magazine Spring 2014 Issue Party

Jennifer Connelly In Saint Laurent - DuJour Magazine Spring 2014 Issue Party

Jennifer Connelly attended the DuJour Magazine Spring 2014 Issue event to celebrate her cover at Lavo on Thursday (March 27) in New York City.

Saint Laurent’s classic smoking blazer is a firm favourite with celebs; even Jennifer’s ‘Noah’ co-star Emma Watson was spotted wearing one earlier this week.

The satin lapels and padded shoulders of Jennifer’s blazer give this timeless black wool style added sharpness, with the ruffled shirt adding texture with the tapered-leg trousers and black Saint Laurent ‘Janis’ pumps concluding this signature look.

    She looks fantastic, as always!

I like this better than her red carpet look

    So very well done.

This is a no for me. Too dark and one-note. Don’t find the cut of the jacket particularly fashionable and the shoes are uninspired.

Agree also. Compared to the perfect suit look by Emma Watson this is too sombre and uninspired.

  5. Amanda March 28, 2014 at 13:24 #

    Agree 100%

Agree 100% with Anne above me, that is.

I don’t mind this look. It’s chic, it’s classic. But I feel someone like Angelina could have owned it a little more. But I do like it leaps and bounds better than her last red carpet look.

I agree with Anne and Amanda–this is way too dark. She just looks like a face and ankles. I am fascinated, however, with her earrings…..

This is indeed overwhelmingly dark and mannish/severe. Much prefer how Emma Watson did it – she made it look crisp, chic and feminine.

    Too funeral-like. I’m unimpressed.
