Kristin Davis In Roksanda Ilincic – ‘Fatal Attraction’ Press Night After Party

Kristin Davis In Roksanda Ilincic - 'Fatal Attraction' Press Night After Party

Kristin Davis attended the after-party to celebrate the press-night performance of ‘Fatal Attraction’ held at Mint Leaf Restaurant on Tuesday (March 25) in London.

The actress is very much known for her signature style, which is a fit-and-flare dress usually of the Oscar de la Renta variety.

But for the first time in I don’t know how long, she gave us a totally different silhouette; a distinctly modern silhouette, and something totally unexpected from Roksanda Ilincic’s Pre-Fall 2014 collection.

Kristin’s burgundy sleeveless dress featuring a high round neck and a tonal suspended panel is beautifully decorated with tonal floral appliqués with orange centres enhancing this show-stopping look, complemented by orange Rupert Sanderson ‘Seraphine’ strappy sandals.

Do you like that Kristin finally took a hop, skip and a jump outside her comfort zone, or should she stick to the fit-and-flare silhouette?

I adore the bold, unexpected modern silhouette. The floral appliques look horrible however (childish craft project) and the colour is very heavy/fall (while it seems that it’s finally time for something more refreshing), and I almost wish she’d toned down the orange shoes. Overall, I like that she switched things up.

I’m on the fence with this look. I do think that she pulls the dress off, but in the same time, something is off about it. I don’t think the shoes work with the dress, but kudos to her for trying something different.

Ugly dress + ugly shoes = rather interesting look. I think I prefer flat shoes, as not to make the dress more of what it’s not. It’s not exactly pretty, it’s not exactly flattering or ladylike. But I like this, it’s edgy and cool.

the dress is lovely, the details might seem too much for some people but I find it nice. However I’m not sold on the shoes, she was trying to match the flowers but they look odd. anyway I’m glad she’s trying new things
