Eva Longoria In Rubin Singer – ‘Border’ Guadalajara Film Festival Presentation

Eva Longoria In Rubin Singer - 'Border' Guadalajara Film Festival Presentation

Eva Longoria attended the presentation of the movie ‘Border’ held during the International Film Festival of Guadalajara on Sunday (March 23) in Guadalajara, Mexico.

One word kept coming to mind when I was looking at Eva in this Rubin Singer dress, and that word was ‘no’.

No to the pukey pink colour, no to the shape of the neckline, no to the way this dress look makes her shoulders look so broad, no to the over-complicated hemline, no to that foundation – which is perhaps two shades too light for her skin – and finally a big no to the bangs.

I have been undecided with regards to the bangs for a while, but this whole look has forced me to finally jump off the fence.

Cannes can’t come around soon enough for Eva.

    I’m not liking the dress.

What an awful, cheesy little dress, so is the lighter foundation, as pointed out. I don’t mind her youthful bangs but they just don’t work here. This is bad.

For me, the color is beautiful (I never understand pink snobbery)but the bangs & makeup are a trainwreck. She has gotten to a point here she is so irrelevant that she tries WAY too hard.

She looks unrecognizable, why so? Is it that terrible makeup?

It is a disaster for our standards but you have to consider that in Mexico that is a hit. Women there are adept to the “much more is much better” philosophy for dressing, hair and make up.

I like the bangs, they make her look youthful. Sadly everything else is horrible. And I actually liked her last couple of looks but she’s back to looking like a beauty pageant contestant here…

This dress adds pounds. She looks 10 lbs heavier than she did in her David Koma dress from 7 days ago, which given her already thin body is no crime, but for the average woman, this is a big deterrent.

I must be missing something, or must not be as down with what’s fashionable as I thought I was, because the only thing I don’t like about this dress is the high collar + plunging neckline. I love the colour on her skintone. Strongly dislike her hair and makeup

I don’t like anything of this look. Plus, her makeup artist should stop using all that concealer!

The close up works for me, the dress as a whole doesn’t quite.

And she was going so well…
