‘Divergent’ Makeup Exclusively At Sephora

To coincide with the release of the film adaptation of Veronica Roth’s book ‘Divergent’, which opened to a $56 million weekend, Lionsgate partnered with Sephora to release limited-edition makeup products based on the colours of each ‘faction’ (five cities separated based on specific traits) in the novel.

This isn’t the first time fashion/beauty have collided with a film release, as Lionsgate was also responsible for the Capitol Couture fashion collection inspired by ‘The Hunger Games’ which was sold exclusively on Net-A-Porter.com.

The limited-edition makeup collection inspired by the film is sold in three pieces.

The Divergent Multi-Piece Collector’s Kit ($59.50) consists of twelve high-pigment eye shadows and three high-gloss transforming shadows, which look transparent when you apply them dry but show up translucent when wet. The kit also includes four lip glosses, a cheek palette and a double-ended application brush.

The Divergent Multi-Piece Collector’s Palette ($32.50) is like a mini version of the Collector’s Kit, offering three high-pigment eye shadows, a long-wear blush, a matte bronzer and a high-shine lip gloss.

And the Divergent 7-piece Nail Art Kit ($27.50) includes five long-wear nail polishes plus a clear High-Gloss Transforming Nail Lacquer to wear over any of the shades to create a shimmering finish, as well as an assortment of water-transfer nail tattoos to create an easy nail-art look.
