Beauty Trend Spotting: Orange Lipstick

With brighter skies comes brighter lipstick, but celebs aren’t waiting for the weather to heat up to try the latest beauty trend- orange toned lipstick. The citrusy color makes a flirty statement and celebs such as Shay Mitchell, Cobie Smulders, Jamie King, and Kristen Bell are setting the tone.

Celebrity makeup artist, Veronica Chu, demonstrated the fiery-orange hue on Shay Mitchell’s pout using Covergirl Lipperfection Lipliner in Passion and Covergirl Lipperfection Lipcolor in Fame.

Cobie Smulders’ tangerine hue can be replicated with a bold colour like Givenchy’s Rouge Interdit Satin Finish Lipstick in Fruity Orange.

Jamie King opted for a tone with a hint of coral. Urban Decay Super- Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Punch Drunk has similar undertones.

Kristen Bell made the look her own with a soft shade similar to the Sephora Collection Ultra Shine Lipgloss in Sweet Orange.
