Jaime King In Maison Martin Margiela Couture – Hunters Alley Launch

Jaime King In Maison Martin Margiela - Hunters Alley Launch

Jaime King and Christina Hendricks helped celebrate the launch of Hunters Alley at The Unique Space on Thursday (March 13) in Los Angeles, California.

Jaime King: The actress has been widening her choice of designers a little more recently; here we see her wearing a Maison Martin Margiela Spring 2013 Couture champagne-coloured backless halter layered dress embroidered with glass-beaded detailing. Opting for black pumps and a black Alexander McQueen clutch, she added an on-trend orange lip to complete her look.

Christina Hendricks: As always, my heart sank upon seeing Christina’s look. The black-and-white look featuring a top with built-in pearls aged her drastically; however, the overall fit worked well.

I like that Jaime experiments but Tilda or Cate would have sold this look more. Plus, those black accessories don’t help.
    As for Christina- c’est tragique

    I don’t like either look.

    No to both

Yeah. Not great. Although I like the idea of Christina in slacks. They work well with her figure.

P.S. Is anyone else creeped out by the masked model or is it just me?

Jamie’s dress is awful – a weird ‘boudoir couture’ hybrid, I thought slips weren’t meant to show, ridiculous. I’d take Christina with her grandma pearls any day.

I’d also add ‘cheap-looking’ to Jamie’s dress description.
