Rosario Dawson has recently been making the rounds at the 2014 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas, where she trotted out a trio of ensembles for the festivities. The trending topics of her three looks? Hot colours and bold prints—and several shades of orange.
Star Power: Innovative Ways To Engage Millennials Q&A: On Friday (March 7) at the Austin Convention Center, Rosario opted for a pumpkin-orange and black Peter Som Fall 2014 dress, featuring an abstract, blurred floral print. Kurt Geiger London Collection ‘Anja’ pumps and black tights completed the ensemble.
‘Joe’ Premiere: Walking on the wild side was easy for the actrss on Sunday (March 9) with this red-orange, leopard-print DVF wrap dress. Black tights and pumps, alongside barely-there makeup, dialled back the impact of those spots.
‘Cesar Chavez’ Premiere: Hitting the Paramount Theatre red carpet on Monday (March 10) in bright orange and blue, Rosario wore a scuba dress with mini peplum waist from the Matthew Williamson Pre-Fall 2014 collection, paired with Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ black pumps. Splashed in a bright, whimsical pattern of parrots, martini glasses, wild mushrooms and fruit vines, this bodycon frock served up sexiness with a smile.
The Matthew Williamson dress easily was my favourite for its flattering silhouette and fascinating jumble of prints.
