Kristen Bell In Monique Lhuillier – ‘Veronica Mars’ New York Screening

Kristen Bell In Monique Lhuillier - 'Veronica Mars' New York Screening

Kristen Bell attended the ‘Veronica Mars’ screening held at AMC Loews Lincoln Square on Monday (March 10) in New York City following her taping at the ‘Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’.

Keeping the sleek tresses and kohl-rimmed eyes from the previous outing, she wore a Monique Lhuillier Fall 2013 black floral Chantilly-lace strapless high-low cocktail dress with a sheer black overlay, which she styled with black accessories.

I can’t say I’m too enamoured with this look as the dress is too shapeless for my personal taste, and I wish she’d opted for some statement accessories to keep me interested.

While I think the intention was a vampy glam look, for me the essemble translates as a head-to-toe bat.

She looks like she’s caught up in the spider’s web. No thanks.

I actually like the dress but not the rest. The heavy eye makeup wasn’t necessary.

    Don’t like it.

The dress does nothing for her + she’s such a beautiful woman… she doesn’t need that heavy makeup.

Ugh, too dull, too black, too shapeless. What’s up with Kristen during this promo tour?? She’s not really making great choices. You were so right FC, this look needs color, statement jewelry, something!
And her eyes are set too close together to pull off this heavy smoky eye look successfully. I haven’t liked anything she’s worn since she wore that blue & white dress to the Oscar’s luncheon. Her makeup and hair were perfect then. She needs to use that as her template, cause this whole promo tour is just a bust.

    That eye make up… no

This was one of my favorite dresses from this collection and I couldn’t wait to see someone wear it on the red carpet. But Kristen Bell is definetely not who I had in mind. The dress looks so unflattering on her and the styling is all wrong. It hurts my eyes just looking at it. Such a shame because it really is a gorgeous dress.

Raccoon make-up and a boring dress.

This is all kinds of disappointing. I’m bored by such dresses to say the least. Sheerness, lace and black. What’s new? The silhouette is also very confusing and this looks much better on the runway.

I don’t care for her outfit or styling but I do love her makeup.

    Unflattering and dull
